It’s not about knowing the rules imo. It’s about getting guys focused and holding them accountable when they lose said focus
Yeah at 3rd and 3 and they can run the clock out it’s just a total lack of awareness and focus to fall for the hard count. Veteran player too.

RT false start?
It’s just a disgrace how inconsistent the league is about this. I know the Pats “don’t get the benefit of the doubt” or whatever bullshit justification people want to give. But the league simply has a different standard for how they call elite offenses.

Pre-snap discipline is instilled through effective coaching in order to prevent what would are normal reactive tendencies. This is a coaching flaw

Right. I guess it’s hard for me to imagine not being locked in in front of 60K people, on TV, with a truly terrifying human being looking to destroy me. But then again, I’m not a pro athlete. :D
Cimini, jets beat guy, was all over our stupid head coach about not having refs in camp, any time Salad was asked about penalties it was some bullshit answer. When Mangini ran the team we were one of the least penalized, I think that was also true for BB. Mangini would have guys run laps for penalties, Salad said shit like that is disrespectful to grown men.

The Pats aren't playing scared. They are getting blown off the ball on both sides again this week. This team feels like its at a talent deficit to start versus just about every opponent. Judging anything except for individual play is kind of a fools errand here.

They are getting straight up dominated.
