Wish we had a coach who was aggressive in trying to win.

Side note... Mayo was right in this case not to take timeouts... you can't make it easy for the opponent because you're scared you'll give up a TD and 2pt, if you can't stop either you deserve to lose.
Yeah just a take a timeout when the clock is already stopped and the play clock is at like 2 and the Colts are scrambling

Agreed about the TOs. They blew this with the 2 run calls after the pick. Didn’t even run with Gibson. Awful.

It's not about "deserving" anything, having 50 seconds to work with here instead of 12 makes a world of difference.

Wouldn't have had 50 though, unless they used all his timeouts, IND would have let the clock run on their plays instead of using their own timeouts once they got to and-goal situations.

Options were:
1. win the game with a stop
2. win the game stopping the 2pt.
3. Down 1, 12 seconds and timeouts
4. Down 1, 20-22 seconds no timeouts.

It’s one thing to lose because the other team is stronger, or faster, or bigger. But it’s really hard to watch when your team loses because it’s stupider.

This was probably the most devastating loss of the season which is saying a lot. I'm stunned and yet lol I shouldn't be at all.

What???? Just throw the hail Mary, a 68 yarder????
Could be intercepted, which means a bad INT%. Also: Don’t want Maye to develop any bad habits. Player development is a science, yo.

I am wondering about that last spot. I thought he made it across the 50-yard line but I guess if it was a 68 yarder they were on their own 49?

Lmao NFL record 68 yard field goal.

It didn’t look far off though. It was lined up right. Maybe 65 it nicks over the crossbar

You have this amazing ability to confidently decide things were correct when they were literally the opposite of correct.
