That didn’t take long.

Total self-control on that shovel too; I was wondering why he was running so slowly.

I think this is the first time I've rooted for KC since Mahomes. That was still a frustratingly easy drive.
I’m assuming we want kc to win because buff maybe be less driven to hammer the pats tomorrow is that correct?

If the Raiders put up 30+ again today I’m going to be seriously depressed.

Stidham trying to shorten his career on that run.

So, in a vacuum where we have no idea about how Buffalo will come out to play tomorrow, we want KC to win since Buffalo might decide to rest starters, right?

I… think so? I read the whole thread last night and now I’m not totally sure because it was actually total information overload. But that sounds familiar. :p

Wishing for the Bills to take it easy, or not playing with all-out emotion, in this week especially, is akin to thinking the Democrats could have cut a deal on the speakership

But I think buff would still be motivated to get locked into the 2 seed because Cin could overtake them with a buff loss and a cin win?

I expect that this will prove correct. It’s not just emotion; playing football is something they know how to do, playing a football game is something they’ll feel like they can do, have some modicum of control in their lives, focus. It’s a pretty common reaction and pretty much what I expect to see tomorrow. If anything, I would think that the Pats’ vest chance is if they come out a little too amped up at first… narrow as it is.

Yeah, if you look at the Chiefs, Bills and Bengals ... those offenses are elite. The Chargers, Dolphins and Jaguars also have the weapons to be stellar. Compared to those six, the Patriots look like they're playing a different sport

That punt/INT aside - Stidham looks great. Shame we never gave him a shot in 2020.
To me that was absolute malpractice not playing him and wasting an entire year on Cam Newton because Newtown played ball and kissed Bill’s ass. Literally wasted a whole season on a stiff when maybe Stidham could have showed something then you don’t need to use a first round pick on Mac Jones. To me that decision may have set the patriots back years.

Correct. It's hard to figure how the Bills will respond with Hamlin in the hospital, but it seems pretty clear (to me at least) that they'll play harder with the reward of a bye (and the possibility of not facing KC/CIN until the AFC title game) as opposed to just some standard seeding.
