Pete will be chomping away as always after some fuck ball leads to a chance to win in the 4Q. It's in the DNA of these teams, especially on a stage like this.
I would love to see it, but my money is on the Niners, no matter what the line is.

I don’t know if momentum carries 9 months, but I don’t know if you can end a season better than that without winning a super bowl. Every other team except the champions is going to end this year pretty disappointed. Except for the Lions.

By the way, a great year for Jared Goff. Really restored his career after the bullshit departure from the Rams

COY:

Daboll
Sirriani
Pete

Any of those seem reasonable.

Shanny and Dan C get honorable mentions.

If Tua doesn’t get 7 concussions, Ruxin probably would have gotten some votes.

Not to be THAT guy, but what are the odds Brady doesn't win this game in these circumstances?
I dunno. I think Cowboys win as long they get a half decent game out of Dak. Their running game has been anemic last month or so but is normally good. I just can’t overlook how bad Tampa has been all year. This team sucks and I think Brady will have to play a really strong game for them to win.

I'm saying if Brady had a home "win and in" game against the Lions in Week 18. The Cowboys game is a crapshoot, my guess is it'll be 13-7 either way with 8 minutes to go in the fourth.

Ah, my bad. Yeah, I’d expect him to win a game like last night. Rodgers almost seemed to look relieved that it was over.

Well I was off by a year in which the Rams got the championship, but was hesitant to call the Rams the winner of this trade last year based on Stafford's health and I always knew Goff would be a good guy for the Lions to ride with. Not flashy, but he seems to complement Campbell's offensive system well. The Rams got the one thing they wanted so it's at least a win-win trade, but 5 years from now if LA does not get close to a 'ship and the Lions hit on their pick, the trade could look a bit rough for the Rams over the longer haul.

The Lions are definitely going to be an interesting team to watch. Goff seems good enough that they probably don’t need to spend on a QB right now. In the next draft, they’ll have these picks in first 3 rounds:

6 (Stafford)
18
49
60 (Hockensen)
82

And they’ll be adding Jameson Williams, who basically redshirted this year. Lots they can do with that kind of draft capital.

Good week for the NFL. Steeler players do chest compressions for celebration. Quay Walker ejected for shoving trainer and then his teammate Wyatt gives trainer a bump as well. This is the second time this season Walker has shoved a trainer.

Nice awareness people.

Seconds after Jarran Reed throws a needless, dirty forearm to the head.

Was the Steeler thing some(albeit misguided) attempt to pay tribute to the trainers and paramedics who saved Hamlins life? I mean, they could not have been intentionally mocking the situation, could they?

Holy crap, I didn't see this but had jokingly mentioned the previously-used "defibrillator" celebration would be in poor taste this week. Yikes.

They weren’t paying tribute nor mocking him. It’s a regular sack celebration that should have been shelved for awhile.
