Yes need Jags to win if Pats, Fins and Steelers lose to back into the 7 seed
Buck mentioned lots of injuries earlier in the broadcast, though that often seems like an excuse in the NFL (teams with major injuries win 10+ games every year).
They haven’t played this well in a while, plus they’re 0-3 in one-score games during their 6-game losing streak.
Are one score games in the NFL similar to MLB 1-run games or is there less randomness/luck?
Teams with elite QBs win more than their share of one-score games, so there’s somewhat less randomness, but as you’d expect, the outcome of one-score games is much more random than the outcome of more lopsided games.
How was that a blindside block? I mean, I get that the guy turned back to make the block, but he they were looking right at each other
Just be in the Pats game thread tomorrow to tell us how well Josh Allen is playing and how badly Mac sucks.
It’s a penalty when a player (running in the direction of his endzone) blocks a defender.
If you’re Tenn you just hope your O doesn’t fuck things up too badly and you probably win. Lawrence still looks a year away from prime time.
Anyone else remember the piss-versus-water color rush matchup between these teams 4-5 years ago, where the Jags wore those nasty mustard-yellow unis?
I’m not sure the Jags will be glad in the long run that they took Walker over Hutchinson, but Walker is a helluva player.
Titans defensive line has kept them in this. If Jags can run hurry up and slow the rush by a half step they will score a TD. Kirk has been a fraction from several big catches.
They ran play action on first down. Trying to set that up I think. Just anything to try to get that extra tenth of a second.
