This is starting to feel like the 59-0 game with slightly better weather. The Titans are just getting smoked in all aspects of the game.

Fantastic list.

I'd argue there's a clear distinction between the top tier teams and middle tier ones. I'd cut it around either 2/3 or 5 -- too early to defend either cut, but definitely a clear drop after 5.

I think Vegas will be top 5 before the end of the season. I'm not sure I'd put Den ahead of Jax, but it's close.

I'm not a Lamar lover because I think his ceiling is limited because he's not the best passer, (that hail mary effort was so weak) but he's still a top QB in the league because he can run 80 yard TDs. But that speed won't last forever.

But he's better than those scrubs people listed.
Yeah, I find this pretty defensible -- Lamar gets by mostly on his legs, which elevates his mediocre passing game quite a bit. I also agree it won't last, and I'd argue its already starting to run out.

I'm sorry, taking Jalen Hurts above Lamar Jackson might be the most bonkers take I've read on SoSH.
Lamar Jackson has already won one MVP and after his 2022 start, he's right in the discussion again. Jalen Hurts needs to throw 14 more TDs to equal Lamar's total in his singular MVP season. No NFL GM would take Hurts over Lamar today. Zero.
hahahahahhahhahahahhaha

Who is the DC in Minny? These schemes are ridiculous.
The same coordinator that held Rodgers to a single TD score last week. They are getting Hurts this week :p

Good blocked kick though.

Dude, your list had Kirk Cousins over Lamar.

Nobody in the league better at putting up big numbers in meaningless games nobody watches, then completely shitting himself in primetime than Kirk Cousins.

Cousins has been hurt by some drops, but his decision making tonight has been awful.

Slay has been jumping every route.

Buffalo does everything well and Allen is unstoppable. They got lucky last night but i think they were a bit unlucky the week before. We will learn a lot about both them and Miami next week but it's hard not to think they're the overwhelming favorite.

Buffalo looks like an absolute wagon right now. I don't think his playing style is good for a long career, but that's another question...for now, Josh Allen is an absolute monster and almost impossible to defend. You just have to score a lot against them (good luck; they have a great defense) and hope he makes some mistakes.

It's nice to see that it's not just the Pats that get rolled by them though.

If this disciplined, quick hitting, Josh Allen is for real I don't know what you can possibly do to stop Buffalo. Another game in which he looked like prime Tom Brady, just carving them up as soon as the back foot hits the turf. Not like he's ever been the Kyler Murray type of improviser, but I don't recall him consistently playing on time and in rhythm so often and in such a deadly manner like this. And then come playoff time he'll run over people and truck linebackers with reckless abandon. Dude is looking like a special player right now.

Obviously a long season still, but will be interesting if they have to go up against KC again. If Buffalo gets home-field advantage then they prolly walk into the SB, but if they have to go to KC again, all bets are off. Assuming both teams are healthy, etc.

I think homefield is super important for Buffalo and they may steam roll the regular season to get it.

They really do have that "we'll beat you anyway you want to get beat" look about them. Somewhere along the way, inevitably, they'll have a sub-par offensive game. But as you point out, their defense looks more than good enough to win a rock fight or two if need be. Barring any critical injuries, it's hard to imagine them not steamrolling to home field advantage in the AFC.
