ESPN: “we aren’t going to show that gruesome Chubb injury”

Pittsburg: < here is a replay on the big screen for the entire stadium>

Sounds like the Steelers fans respected the heck out of Chubb

Horrific injury. What happens to many military veterans can be much worse, there’s more of them and they get paid less

Fuck. That Chubb injury was stomach churning. Feel terrible for the guy.

My fantasy team is now toast, but that’s insignificant compared to what him and his fans are feeling right now. Football is a brutal sport.

Same.

ACL and MCL at minimum. Maybe PCL.

Terrible valgus injury, almost a dislocation. Brutal. Out for the year.
Is it something he can come back from? His leg looked almost snapped off. Is that most likely just structural stuff that he can rehab?

I don't want to watch the replay, but I wonder if it's similar to when he tore his PCL, MCL and LCL while playing at Georgia in 2015.

I saw that clip as well and honestly it looked pretty similar. These guys are so fucking mentally tough, if my leg fell off like his did at Georgia I would’ve retired

The first thing I thought of seeing the Chubb injury (it's very clear on twitter, check it if you must) was Willis McGahee.
I didn’t rewatch on Twitter. But watching helmet to knee in real time and then saying it was too gross to watch, I assumed this was the comp.

Same here. Man, that looked like a career ender. Get your money, RBs. Whatever you can get. Just take the money.
