Agreed, although to be fair he pretty much looks like that all the time regardless of situation.
Non-contact injuries must scare the shit out of these guys with non-guaranteed contracts. How the hell are they supposed to protect themselves from those?
You guys are very generous. Not that his line was good last night, but in Jones I see a guy who doesn't progress through his reads well, can't make quick decisions, doesn't throw the ball away enough when under pressure, tucks and runs too quickly, and throws poorly on the run (how many high throws did he make while moving yesterday?). He's got some arm talent and is fairly mobile, but his ceiling is just way lower than what you'd want in your long-term quarterback.
If he doesn't have good receivers, and has a terrible offensive line, and is a good runner, tucking and running is the smartest and best decision a QB could make. I can't speak for luckiestman, but my comments were about his performance last night, which was both heroic and as effective as any QB could have managed under the circumstances.
You want to say you have your doubts about him as an NFL starter, I'll give you no argument. But to say that you came to that based on his performance last night is just to ignore the evidence in favor of the narrative about him.
The one turnover he had came because his receiver fell down coming out of his break and Diggs made a great play to save the ball from hitting the turf. Can't say that about Mac's turnovers on Sunday, and he wasn't under as much pressure as Daniel was in the game last night.

They're all secretly Jerry Jones' bastards. (I seriously believe Garrett's resemblance to Jerry was the reason for his long tenure with the Cowboys.)
Jones got drafted early in a weak year for QBs which created unreasonable expectations and then got the organizational runaround with coaches, poor O-line play, etc. He’s not good enough to break through all that, but he’s not as bad as the criticism either. I think he has a real chance to succeed with the current staff and if they win 8-10 games, which seems possible, then they’ll be better served keeping him around then trying to strike gold in the mid-first or the veteran market.
