Fuck, these announcers are killing me.  They are acting like it's another day at the office, while these two QB's have a combined 1,000 yards passing through 3 fucking quarters.  Records are falling everywhere and these guys sound like they are taking a nap.

Damn, huge offensive pass interference stalls the drive.  Halliday only gets 17 yards.  Up to 642 now.

NO GOOD,

Wait flag on the play  Kicker with an epic soccer style flop on the play, 3 steps in front of where he kicked it he flopped over a defender on the ground

Now 50 for the win

No good again

That was a horrible call. Justice prevails. Fuck UCLA.

What an incredible Saturday.

Fuck me.  Halliday might be hurt after a shitshow abortion of a few plays down inside the 10, after the refs reversed a touchdown ruling.

Washington State scores a td, and then Cal comes back with one on the 2nd or 3rd play from scrimmage.  60-59 Cal.  Extra point pending.

Halliday is 44/62 for 669 yards and 6td's.

Goff is 37/53 for 527 yards and 5td's.

I want Cal to get the 2 point conversion and then WSU get a field goal, so they go to overtime.

Isn't that the point of kicking the field goal on third down?  You get a bad snap, you don't kick it.  You jump on it, and then kick it.

no timeouts, so they couldn't have fallen on it, could have thrown it away I guess if he thought of it quick enough

That's the worst ending I've ever seen.  2 yards from the all division record, and they bring out the kicker on 3rd down and he misses it because of a bad snap.  I can't believe what I just saw.  Happy Homecoming Cougars.

Ahh, I didn't know they had no timeouts, so then fuck it, why kick it on third down.  Throw a pass into the end zone instead.  It's not like they got any pressure on Halliday all night, so a sack wasn't even a remote possibility.

I think the biggest mistake was not centering the ball, with 19 seconds they should have had time to center it before using there final timeout to set up the field goal.  They wouldn't have had the extra down, but they didn't make use of it anyway.  Or go hurry up and try to score if you don't trust your kicker/holder, I have no clue if WSU has had issues with that before or not.

Watching game highlights this morning, I was very surprised to see one camera shot during the Michigan State vs. Nebraska game that there were end zone sections of Spartan Stadium that were empty.  But the announced attendance was 75,923 (official capacity is 75,005).

I don't know about MSU, but a lot of schools have their bands sit in the end zones. If it was right before the half, they might've been on the sidelines getting ready to perform and all those seats would be empty.

What a great weekend for college football, from Arizona beating Oregon at home to Arizona State's Hail Mary TD that defeated USC. I don't know what I liked seeing more in Oxford--Saban with bitter beer face or an Ole Miss co-ed hanging off the goalpost while wearing a cocktail dress and heels.

In the meantime, I suspect that LSU is going to skull-fuck Auburn's offensive line.  I say that knowing that LSU hasn't looked all that great so far this season, because Auburn's offensive line has been just that bad so far this season, being dominated physically by Kansas State for an entire game, and by LA Tech for about 3 quarters last week.  I hope I'm wrong, but that's the most likely upset this weekend.
I like being wrong.

Florida QB Treon Harris, the freshman who replaced Driskell and led the Gators to the comeback win over Tennessee, has been suspended and is being investigated over some legal matter yet to be disclosed. Muschamp's Monday presser was cancelled.
