4th and goal for the Packers at the one yard line. Inexplicably they try to draw the Bears offsides, even though a penalty there only moves the ball 6 inches and it is still fourth down. Then they burn a timeout. Then they go for it anyway and are stuffed.

Mike McCarthy, ladies and gentlemen.

And CBS couldn't get back from commercial in time to show it.

They make some weird calls, for sure. Montgomery looks okay but really running a WR up the middle? Pretty much any true RB scores on that play with that much daylight. Pack have left 11 points on the board already despite dominating that quarter.

In the first quarter the Packers are throwing 10-12 yard passes and moving up and down the field. Now they start throwing 4 yard passes and can't move the ball. WTF.

Does Tracy Wolfson smoke a whole pack of Marlboro's before giving her reports?

That was so clearly not a catch...unreal
It is impossible to figure out what a catch is now if the ball or receiver in general hits the ground.
The ground completely aided that catch and the ball moved. How that is a catch but a guy taking 3 steps being dragged down and only losing the ball after he is starting to get up makes no sense to me.

It's nice that Nantz told us that might be a sack as opposed to, you know, showing us.

Not resetting the play clock after the sack was absurd. They didn't have the ball ready for play until there was 9 seconds left to snap it.

Nantz's tongue is so far up Rodger's ass he can taste Olivia Munn's nail polish.

I ended up rewatching this, they paused the play clock at 13 and restarted it from 13 seconds. CHI absurdly had about 7 seconds to snap the ball from when the refs put it into play. How all the officials huddled and still called it delay of game is absurd. Not a material call but when you add that to the catch that was clearly a non catch on 3rd and G and the admittedly 16 missed calls in GB first game at Jax, it isn't a stretch to say the NFL would like to see GB do well this year.

The reffing was so poor. Terrible PI calls, GB scored a TD after the play clock hit 00, Hoyer took a headshot from Matthews and then got tossed down hard 1.5 seconds after throwing the ball- which had they called maybe wouldn't have led to Hoyer getting his arm snapped in half. Just a terrible product all around.

Twin Bridges, Mt.
Yet the Sons of Crazy Legs Hirsch are feeling fine.
Lol, in looking at his info I see he served in the Marine Corp and then played semi-pro for the Chicago Rockets before joining the Rams.

Bob Tucker, TE with most receptions in the 70's, played semi-pro for a few years for the Lowell Spinners prior to joining the Giants.

That was a hell of a run back.

Can't believe he stayed up, while exhausted, after mistakenly cutting inside instead of outside at the end.
