I think San DIego wins this in a close one. Philip Rivers has been really impressive this season.

Keenan Allen might have 20 catches tonight.  The offenses should be in full gear and get a lot of plays in.

Am I imagining things, or are the San Diego linebackers yelling "Omaha" and imitating all of Peyton's other calls?

Isn't that illegal?
I remember a Colts linebacker got flagged for simulating the snap count against us a few years ago.

I thought so too.  But it might have just been the center echoing Peyton's calls, hard to tell watching on TV.  On the other hand, how would they prove that the Chargers don't have a defensive playcall named Omaha?

And that was a terrible punt return, considering how much open space he had in front of him.  Totally misjudged the ball and it went right over his head... terrible.

I never thought he was particularly, good, but from what I have seen this year, has Simms lost his fastball? He seems a lot more like Dierdorf and lacks a lot of insight that some of the other guys, like Trent Green, provide. Maybe I'm just judging him too harsh, but he sounds really bad so far.

Denver's offensive line looks really impressive. Don't even think Peyton has been touched the entire game aside from that botched snap.

I really hope naming the number of every single Touchdown Manning throws doesn't stay a thing. We get it, he has the record. We don't need each TD to be called 511, 512, etc. At a certain point it gets silly.

Wait until he has the yardage record.

If SD was so worried about Fluker blocking Miller, then why did they have him on an island trying to block him? That sack is on Rivers as well for not picking that up.

Fwiw, Manning's accuracy and arm strength both look much-improved from last year. Perhaps it took that much time to recover from the neck surgery.

Congratulations to Peyton Manning on breaking the NFL record for career touchdowns.  He broke the record previously held by Peyton Manning.

Keeping the analogy going, could Simms' fastball be described as like a Barry Zito one?

Impressive drive from Rivers, considering how bad his pass protection has been. Also terrific play calling, using short timing routes to cool off the blitz and give Rivers a chance to get the ball out before he is crushed by Von Miller and Co.

That is so close. Forearm is down, but is the ball moving on the way out?

SD may be the only team entirely unafraid to play in Denver AND with a solid basis for feeling that way. They have had success there and seem to relish the challenge.
