I would be beside myself if I was a Browns fan. The Sam thing is bad enough but Baker is very fun to root for.

Kick it short to burn time and maybe grab a few net yards
Definitely.

I think some teams aren’t comfortable with covering kicks under the new rules, because you see teams conceding the touchback to the 30 in situations where they clearly shouldn’t.

Somewhere Chris Harper is saying “wait, you don’t have to field a punt in bad weather?”

I was OK with that timeout. I thought they would lose 7-10 seconds getting set up and then would be rushed on that first play. You have to get a touchdown; so make sure you have time for 4 downs to do that - rather than trying to be cute with the clock.

Of course - I know about nothing about gridiron.

If I end up in hell, I think I'll be sentenced to watching Mahomes "throw" those little toss/pitch passes again and again and again.

It's Todd Bowles. He's not going for two points. He should have, but he would not in a million years.
He's under the fallacy that his defense would hold these guys to a FG. Losers. He had a chance and blew it.
Knife through butter.

I will never really understand why teams don't take the chance to win a game on one very achievable play like a 2pt conversion, especially when they are the underdog. (Same with a makeable 4th down, etc.). It's a one true outcome play in a game with a million variables. If someone had offered Bowles that chance before the game he would have taken it in a heartbeat. Why complicate things? Just go for it.

Mayo approves of the decision to not go for two. And of course KC wins the toss.
I was ok with the decision in the Pats game, Maye and the offensive were clearly gassed from that last series (and last play) in regulation. But in this game they absolutely should have gone for two.
