As someone with a 20- and 17-year-old, I can confidently say their are lots of kids with zero interest in getting on stage with Drake. It seems to me that nowadays getting to the NBA/MLB/NFL etc takes so much focus and dedication, the party kids are way less prevalent in high level sports. They don’t have time to party!

Wemby has been on a bit of a heater lately, now averaging about 25/10/4 with 4 blocks and a steal per game, and a TS of .606. His shot profile is something that’s always going to get attention - he’s taking over 9 3’s per game (13th in the league, right between White and Pritchard) and hitting them at an ordinary .349. Chris Paul has been excellent for him

With a guy that young, you love him shooting that volume of 3s and being able to hit an OK clip. This is probably the worst his shooting will ever be, and it's great for him to get tons of in-game reps shooting at high volume.

Yeah I think it’s gonna be great for his game, and the best offensive comp for him is still bigger, faster, more durable (hopefully) Kristaps Porzingis, and obviously it’s great that KP shoots from deep as often as he does. But then, I don’t have a problem with how many 3 pointers teams are shooting nowadays. There are plenty of people that want to see Wemby be the modern Hakeem, which doesn’t work if half of his attempts come from behind the arc.

The part of KP's game that Wemby really needs to add is that "I'm too tall so I shoot over you and you foul me" post-up. If he does that, with volume 3-point shooting, it's over.

It took KP a LONG time to add that, and it really helps to have competent teammates. I saw a Fox rumor recently, that'd be an interesting fit.

That DARKO chart is nuts. Tatum Luka SGA are the clear best players after the giannis/jokic group ages, and wemby is just totally blowing it up. Are we gonna go an entire decade without an American mvp?

I moved to Manhattan recently, but my brain has not yet processed that. So I saw these tweets and was like "oh, that's cool, would be cool to go if I lived there." Then realized a day later that I do, in fact, live there.
Welcome to the best city in the world (ducks)

Heh. I wish I never left. But it's nice to see a place in a photo and remember all the times you've spent there.

Just make sure you get tickets to Feb 8th (Knicks) and March 15th (Nets) and put it on the calendar before you forget again :)

Wemby is a much better chess player than he is flopper. Todays vs Gobert was embarrassing not to mention it took him out of the play rather than allow him to defend the rim.

Wemby might be a top five guy already. He has made a huge leap lately and is a completely dominant two-way player.

I was thinking the other day that there is a pretty clear top six, in whatever order you like.

The fact that this not-that-good Spurs team is winning games, and that his DARKO is awesome, puts me over the top. He's there imo.

Had to include this picture of Wemby leaping over some helpless Pacers:

Oh…wait…did I say leaping? I meant
