Teams to score 27+ runs since 1900

Toronto tonight
Rangers (30) at Orioles (3) on Aug. 22, 2007
Braves (29) vs. Marlins (9) on Sept. 9, 2020
White Sox (29) at Kansas City A's (6) on April 23, 1955
Red Sox (29) vs. St. Louis Browns (4) on June 8, 1950
Cardinals (28) at Phillies (6) on July 6, 1929
Indians (27) vs. Red Sox (3) on July 7, 1923
Wait.... Only a few runs from most runs given up of all time. At this point go for the record.

Does anyone really think of Downs as one of the better Sox prospects anymore? I feel like the last 1.5 years in AAA have taken a lot of shine off him and even FanGraphs only has him as a 35+ FV prospect. He's currently 38th on The Board.
Thete was a lot of excitement around here when he had a good week in Worcester.

But, seems like a disappointment. Maybe should have taken Graterol after all.

Holy shit. Stepped away and took a nap, it was 12-4. should have stayed asleep, it looks like the Sox are. 27 fucking runs. I’m cheering for the Jays to hit 30 now.

Sad thing about the state of this organization is that this game won’t lead to anything. Bloom and Cora will still have jobs, Duran will still be hitting leadoff, and Henry will still find a way to spend as little money as possible on the Red Sox while counting his billions made from his other ventures.

I know this is a game thread, but I don’t think there could ever be a full rebuild in Boston.
Absolutely not. Boston fans would not tolerate 5-7 years of losing in any sport. And honestly, with the Red Sox as a big market team in a league with no cap they shouldn’t have too.

I just saw the video of that Duran play in center. Holy shit. They should release him right after the game. I’ve never seen a professional quit on a play like that.

Repost this BS when the Sox payroll drops to $50 million.
