I haven't been listening to any sports radio but I imagine they are all giving their callers a lot of time to talk over the last few months. There's nothing to talk about.

I would categorize a truther as someone who refuses to wear masks (they don't work!!11) or says that Covid is "just the flu" and this is all a hoax.

Honestly i don't think Zo gives one shit about politics. A large amount of Americans don't at all.
I don't think he gives politics a lot of thought, nor do I think he particularly thoughtful, but that's my take-away from the guy from some of his general comments over the past few years. And he's entitled to have whatever political opinion he'd like My recollection is Beetle has reined him in if he thought Zo might venture too far into controversial territory..
If you follow him on Twitter there are times where you'll definitely pick up on his political affiliation. Particularly around the elections. But he keeps it to a minimum. Think he's very much a live and let live kind of guy.

He's (bare!y) bright enough not to hitch his wagon to T-Rump's apron strings these days.But, early on in the Trump Dumpster presidency, BoZo was a clear Trumpy .Long before that, he vilified the then Dixie Chicks/now The Chicks for their disavowal of Bush 2 on the air.
I always took him for the “I have enough money to worry about Democrats taking it all but not smart enough to know they won’t.” type of republican.

As someone who was also listening yesterday I couldn't agree with you more. This is a completely manufactured outrage based off of purposefully misconstruing his point.

I don't know, was he listening to it during a practice where he is fighting for his career/position and dancing after every throw? Look, I personally don't care what they do if the coaches are OK with it, that's their decision, whatever works for them. But to smear someone's name in bad faith (which that editorial and headline does) and make that leap from what he said to what they wrote is disgraceful, whether you like the guy personally or not. I'm still trying to understand, if he didn't say rap specifically it would have been OK? Or he can't have the opinion that he did that he thinks it impacts the competition? If I recall, there was previous discussion on his show about other players talking about Mac Jones knowing rap songs/history decently well. So what?
I'm still confused as to what is wrong with that statement, whether you hear it in context of the full discussion or you don't.
I literally listened to it, and then read the transcript. If you don't only disagree that race was part of the lens through which he observed Cam and came to the conclusion that he did, but you also believe that others who interpret his lens that way are taking "his comments so far out of context it's gross"--well then I guess we just understand the world differently.
