I won't be watching, because I can't be bothered to sign up for Apple. I hope the Sox remember how to hit the baseball and Cora lets Eo pitch at least seven and reinstates Whitlock as a relief pitcher.

I'm with you ITP. I'm not signing up for Apple either. It may be a blessing in disguise that I can't watch this team right now, the losses are a lot less aggravating if you only see the score after it's over.
Joe Castig's disappointment is much more palatable than whatever emotion it is that OBrien conjures up in dark times. (I know it's not OB tonight).

I never understood why they sent Schreiber back down, after he showed himself better than about 3/4 of the relief pitchers. Didn't Hill pitch well for an "old guy"* coming down with Covid?

Schreiber isn't on the 40-man roster. He's only ever been up because of the COVID IL rules.
That doesn't excuse the Sox for not adding him to the 40-man permanently, of course.

Well I’m getting the game on my Apple TV app even though I don’t have a subscription. So it must be free.
You know what? Fuck Apple TV. Been jumping through hoops for the past half hour and every password they send me doesn't work. Smooth fucking move by MLB. Take a sport that is dying on the vine and make it less accessible to the people who actually give a fuck about it.

I signed up for Apple TV to watch tonight, will cancel when the game is over. That way I won't forget. And given the broadcast quality I wouldn't be trying to watch any other games anyway.
My Apple ID for music and my phone worked. Picture looks nice. I’m not going to pay anything for it. And I’m not paying for peacock. If more than a few games are blacked out on MLB because of this, I’m canceling. I pay 25 a month just to see the Sox. And already, I hate the color guy. Yacking non stop.
