I know he’s not Tatum, both in talent and the amount of love/reverence he gets around here, but JB is 0-3. Let’s put away the pitchforks for a little bit

The defense is helping a lot less and I think we look better defensively after a few rough possessions out of the gate. The offense is rough early.
Agreed, that was one problem G1 (and first couple possessions here)....overhelping. There's only one guy on Miami you should even think about doubling or helping on.

Still seems like Miami is a lot more able to be physical without whsitles than Celtics. Whether that's skill or refs, hard to say from tv...

JVG is totally wrong as usual, going small means Love has nobody to guard
The failed NBA coaches are effective at one thing which is getting fans riled up with their moronic ideas. You can literally hear them speak words that are then typed verbatim in these gamethreads.

Love to see them go to Grant here, give Jaylen a quick blow, then bring him and Brogdon in for Horford and Smart.

I don’t like most of the failed ex-coaches but I mean…can’t you understand people taking their opinions seriously? Especially people like the Van Gundy bros. Those guys may have terrible bedside manner but they know basketball

Butler is phenomenal at playing physical while staying on the right side of whistles on both ends. I think that is a big factor, and I can’t hate him for it because he’s not a Giannis that just bowls people over or a Trae/Harden who makes non-basketball plays to draw calls. He’s just elite on both ends at using his physicality effectively.
