Wiping my Samsung Galaxy 6 upon return of phone

I had a defect in my Samsung Galaxy 6 that required that I replace it with a new phone. It was under warranty so I got a new Galaxy 6 for free, but I am required to return the defective one to Verizon. Before I do so, is there some program I should run to remove all information from that phone? I'm not terribly adept at this, so remedial instructions or a link(s) would be ideal. Thanks

Do a factory reset.

Don't forget to take out the micro-SD before shipping. Made that mistake once and lost a 64 gb card, and an immeasurable number of pictures of my pecker in various states of arousal.

In Samsung phones, it's usually behind (or under, depending on how you want to look at it) the battery. I'm guessing by your inquiry, however, that you didn't buy one to expand your storage capacity.
