If Houston ends up winning this series, they will have knocked out the three richest teams in Boston, NY, and LA, any of whom could have blocked the Verlander trade simply by claiming him on waivers (actually I'm not sure if LA had a chance to, but the two AL teams definitely did and chose to pass).

The cradle of the game.
2014 Verlander takes the mound tonight, LA wins G6 going away and then pounds Houston into submission tomorrow night.

LA will not be denied.

So glad to see the epic over managing of bullpens in the playoffs blow up in both managers' faces in this series. I really can't stand how much different playoff baseball has become from regular baseball in this regard. Hopefully, the pendulum swings backward next season when Alex Cora rides Sale and Price for all they're worth!

This has seeds of truth, but not complete truth.

So kinda like Grady Little, Tito and John Farrell. We'll be on Cora's shit so fast the moment he lives a guy in one pitch too many. It's just the way it is and we enjoy it.

The two best teams in MLB this year are playing Game 6. This is how it’s supposed to be.

Ooh, my oxycodone just kicked in and I'm ready for some baseball! I just want the better team to win with fair calls by the home plate ump.
My Maui Wowie is kicking in. Life is good, let’s have a fun game!
Now I feel like I should be on something, or, maybe I just get high on baseball.
My vin de maison has kicked in too. World Series on one channel, NBA on the other. Vancouver Harbour sunset all aglow.

SoSH: high on whatever we can find. red wine.gif

On my Fox, the graphic(inning, score, etc) is on the bottom right and there is a Fox Logo on the upper right. But they are both on the edge.
I can see HOU and LAD and inning but the score is off the screen and none of my tv video settings are different. Oh well nothing a Hopothermia can't fix.

I was in a hotel this weekend and this happened to me exactly like that. It was Direct TV. Shutting off the box fixed it.

The cradle of the game.
People don't realize that when healthy, Rich Hill has some of the best stuff in the game over the past 2+ seasons. Would be perfect in a Andrew Miller type role.

Too bad WE can't get guys like Hill and Miller...
