Shore, Orr, Bourque, Stuart, Chara, now McAvoy... we are a lucky bunch

I will never get over not winning in '19 for Z.

I fucking love Big Zee. Such a great Bruin. Tremendous player, tremendous leader, tremendous human.

I really hope he sticks around Boston and stays close to the organization — such a great ambassador for both Boston and Hockey.

Looking forward to #33 deservedly going to the rafters.

Yes we are.

Neither will I.

2019 Stanley Cup, the Scottish game, 1986 World Series and 2010 NBA finals are on my Mount Rushmore of losses that will never leave me.

Sorry, but had to fix your list. The gap from Bourque to Chara is a definite chasm; just tried to pick the ones more serviceable than Brad F-ing Stuart

Does anyone have a link to the 3 page statement he put out? It was super classy and I’m trying to share it with a friend, but cannot find it, even with the benefit of Google.

Thanks in advance RMPS

Never mind, I found the pages on Chara’s fb page. Thank you anyway!

p.s. for anyone who has not read it, I strongly recommend it.

Now now, remember it was supposed to be McLaren to carry the mantle after Bourque, then it was supposed to be Hamilton. Both never lived up to their initial hype plus Hamilton shot himself out of here.
