Jaskin is intriguing. Big body, left winger. Probably more of a 3rd line guy than a Loui replacement.
Hopefully someone claimed him.Shithead is the only Bruin not practicing today, for those keeping track.
I'll pay.Hopefully, but I doubt it. He's either going to Providence or having his hearing for the Paquette hit. I guess Talbot just left the ice too. Ah, intrigue. Talbot and Shithead can share an uber to the Dunk.
There's a guy I'd love to see added... not sure why Columbus would move him though.#CBJ rookie F Kerby Rychel was walking out of Madison Square Garden as I walked in. This is not an optional skate today.

Rychel has not been traded, at least not yet. Been told to await further instructions. Either trade or AHL assignment to get on p-off roster

#AHL transactions show Kerby Rychel has been "sent" to @monstershockey, presumably to be eligible for AHL playoffs.
We need to save those 3rds for Rinaldo types. He shouldn't cost more than a 3rd
I can't imagine taking on that contract for the next 2 years.Side note - if the B's are going for a rental on the blue line, I'd love to see them go after Tyutin. He shouldn't cost more than a 3rd and has been improved this year possession-wise.
At the very least, IMO he's better than Kris Russell & Dan Hamhuis and should come cheaper.
Yikes, thought he was unrestricted after this year, my mistake.I can't imagine taking on that contract for the next 2 years.
I agree, that number for Russell is absurd and given the choice, I'd go with Tyutin all day. I wouldn't mind taking on both older guys from CBJ if they would retain some cap but I doubt that happens. I don't know of a trade deadline when I've been more conflicted about what I want to happen.Yikes, thought he was unrestricted after this year, my mistake.
$4.5m for 2 more years ain't great, but it's still better than the prospect of giving Russell 6 years, $33m as Custance is implying. Not that the B's should assume that commitment in a vacuum, but there are worse propositions out there.
I honestly want to keep Talbot around, even as a healthy scratch. This team needs leadership and he's one guy who can provide it. He does have an intangible value, especially with Kelly out the rest of the year.I'll pay.
I would be very disappointed to see them give up anything of value for someone like Russell.Joe McDonald @ESPNJoeyMac 7m7 minutes ago
According to a league source, Bruins and Flames discussing D-man Kris Russell but source added it's too soon to say if a deal gets done.
I've seen him described as "Kevan Miller in disguise." Unless his disguise is that of a serviceable NHL defenseman, no thank you.I would be very disappointed to see them give up anything of value for someone like Russell.
Thank you.Youtube stream of TSN here
Yeah it's pretty enraging, but what can you do?3rd round pick for a guy nobody in the league wants for free
Under this category: Eric Staal goes for 2 2nds and a prospect. Brett Connolly went last year for 2 2nds.Guessing that's to make sure he doesn't take a roster spot while suspended.
Yeah it's pretty enraging, but what can you do?
Are you saying 2nds aren't worth much anymore? Neither has been much to write home about this year.Under this category: Eric Staal goes for 2 2nds and a prospect. Brett Connolly went last year for 2 2nds.
The difference being that Staal had a NMC and would only waive for the Rangers, costs $9mil a year, has 2 months of control and has less goals than Connolly did last year. This one is not apples to apples.Under this category: Eric Staal goes for 2 2nds and a prospect. Brett Connolly went last year for 2 2nds.
Someone inexplicably keeps paying him. I responded to something asinine he posted a few months ago with "Pronger for Bergeron, Done Deal" and he got mad and asked me why I was living in the past. When will that hack stop? I guess never
98.5 TSH doing a breaking news on Kris Russell just annoyed the ever loving shit out of me.Russell to the Stars per LeBrun, so cross that "option" off the list.
