Is there any chance that Robinson chooses to leave after this year and turn pro? I don't know anything about his background and whether he's happy at BC, but putting up 46 is impressive, as is leading the ACC in scoring.
Quite possibly. Although they then have a tough stretch of 3 road games out of their last 4 against NC State, Miami and FSU. Plus one home game against Cuse. A 2-2 split of those games might be tough, but it’s doable. I would also think they would then need at least 2 wins in the ACC tournament to solidify their case though.BC gets Pitt who hasn’t won an ACC game yet this year and then ND at home. If they win both of those they will be 7-7 in the ACC and could put themselves back in the tourney discussion a little bit no?
He would have to petition the NCAA for a medical redshirt. It is complicated, but it is a real longshort, and of course a question as to whether he would even want oneDoes Deontae Hawkins have a year of eligibility left or did his injury happen too late?
He has been great this year and should absolutely go pro if he can be a 1st rounder. The game has clicked for him. Selfishly, I hope he’s back next year with Bowman and Hamilton/Tabbs. That team would have Sweet 16 potential.Robinson is playing some incredible basketball this year. He has to be on nba teams radars.
Leaving your garbage bigs in the game when they had to foul was a stroke of genius. End of the day, 14-25 from the line and Bowman’s late turnovers killed us. Really bad loss. That was bad, Bowman needed to be more under control and then it went to shit after he fouled out.
This game was all on Bowman (again), I guess it is the nature of being a PG. Last 3 possessions he was involved with.Leaving your garbage bigs in the game when they had to foul was a stroke of genius. End of the day, 14-25 from the line and Bowman’s late turnovers killed us. Really bad loss.
Beat Louisville, discussionTwo more wins and they are probably in the discussion I'd think. But I really have no clue what I'm talking about.
Small quibble. If BC reaches the ACC Final, they will have won 21 games. They have 19 now. I don’t think a finals appearance will be enough anyways. They were likely to be in the NIT before today but this clinched that bid, at least.I think they need to get to the finals to even be in the discussion for the NCAA's. That will get them to 20 wins and 11 overall wins in the ACC. Their RPI is 91 and KenPom is 74. Only 2 road wins all year and they are at Hartford and Pitt. For comparisons sake, Nebraska is on the bubble and they have a KenPom of 56 and RPI of 61.
3.How many more wins until EEI and The Sports Hub are forced to take notice and stop ignoring this team?
I look at RPI sometime, and it just makes no sense. (looking at real time RPI, which I can only assume is a steaming pile of crap)Zero chance of an at-large bid. They'd be the worst RPI team ever to make the tournament, by like 20 spots.
