I’m #TeamBottini. I don’t think you can schedule reply tweets.

No, but if two people took screenshots of those tweets in different time zones, then the fact that the timestamps match up means that they didn't happen at the same time. I don't know where that @rich_hofmann Twitter user got the Eric Jr. tweet from, but that account has been set to private since before the article was published, so it's a reason to remain cautious.I’m #TeamBottini. No, but that's an even better idea.by "Technically elaborate system" and "architecture", you mean, "check the box under notification settings", right?
I hope this goes all the way to the Vatican. It’s the wife.
If this second line isn’t proof it’s a mom, nothing is.

I know you're joking, but if my theory is correct, it would actually negate evidence that Colangelo cannot be the tweeter. You seem defensive.
Are you Colangelo?
Post a pic of your collar.
For me, but I know where the story beginsI'm only disappointed that Colangelo didn't care enough to get a SoSH account. We need more drama here.
From what people say of Hinkie he's almost certainly not involved (sadly) and the accounts have too much post Hinkie involvement knowledgeI think that people are too quick to assume that these Twitter accounts are in fact, Colangelos. It is completely possible that a clever, media savvy person could do this and then set him up to fall. Of course, it would have to be someone who had a grudge against him. Someone who had an intimate knowledge of the 76ers front office. Someone who was high enough in the organization to have Colangelos personal phone number and to know details of his professional and personal life.
But most importantly, he or she would have to be patient. They would have to be willing to defer gratification, a true believer in the idea that revenge is a dish best served cold. A person who would be willing to but up with along involved process....
Eh, never mind.
I'd fire him, but I get they need to cover their bases but he's gone or it's moronicWouldn't you be inclined to suspend him right now as the owner? That lets you save face publicly, while privately it can mean basically nothing (he can still do anything he otherwise would be doing). And if you find out he was set up, you come out in support of him and criticize the faker, etc. If you find out it was him, you fire him and you look like you were prudent to immediately suspend him.
Yeah the fact the accounts were active and replying to new tweet while colangelo was on stage means it's not just him. There's tons of easy-to-use ways to schedule a tweet, though. Sure, that takes tweeting about yourself to a mildly more devious level, but the wife's phone number seems like the dagger.
Also, her name is BOTTINI. I mean, come on, this is the best.
Understanding the Philadelphia 76ers isn’t like understanding pharma, data, or fin tech. Some of the least intelligent people in the world know tons about sports. Just look around! If my wife tried to start shit online talking about my own line of business (data and fintech), she'd sound like a neophyte if not an idiot. Likewise me talking about her industry (pharma). The most concerning parts of this whole saga, from a players' and agents' perspective, are things that, if they surely came from a Colangelo family member, must have either come from Jerry or Bryan.
I was unaware that the Eric Jr. account is actually still public. So the tweets definitely occurred when Colangelo was speaking to the media. Ignore. No, but if two people took screenshots of those tweets in different time zones, then the fact that the timestamps match up means that they didn't happen at the same time. Well they have very loud opinions at least.Understanding the Philadelphia 76ers isn’t like understanding pharma, data, or fin tech. Some of the least intelligent people in the world know tons about sports. Just look around!
Yeah, there's a lot of assuming going on in Insta's post, and I don't buy most of it. I don't see any of the per-player or Hinkie stuff as unbelievably nuanced for a spouse repeating what they heard over dinner, and pushing reporters to pursue the angles is frankly what I'd assume the entire goal to have been, IF it was her. And it really seems like it's her.Understanding the Philadelphia 76ers isn’t like understanding pharma, data, or fin tech. Some of the least intelligent people in the world know tons about sports. Twitter replies on the other hand you can’t scheduleThis thread disappoints me. Haven't any of you seen Death Note? It's easy to schedule twitter posts in advance,yo.
Also, pretty much everyone tells their spouse everything. Of course, most spouses keep that information to themselves.
Ha. I’ve heard that Jerry and Bryan have a rough relationship. Won’t be better now!His family giveth a career and his family taketh away

ESPN reporting with @ZachLowe_NBA: As internal probe on Twitter activity increasingly focuses on his family, Sixers ownership seriously considering dismissal of Bryan Colangelo.
And if my aunt had balls, she'd be my uncle. Can the Sixers afford to have him lead their free-agency pitch to LeBron? Will other players feel as though they can trust him? Rival suitors will certainly make the case that they can't.
Will Leonard, who just spent the 2017-18 season battling with the Spurs over medical issues, feel comfortable playing for a team president who may have shared confidential medical information on Twitter?
The Sixers could face external pressure, too. Perhaps NBA Commissioner Adam Silver views this story as "conduct detrimental to the league." Maybe the union gets involved. Or maybe Colangelo gets exonerated.
How does your relative self-identify?And if my aunt had balls, she'd be my uncle.
Agree...I’ve been thinking the same. Would be an excellent hire in its own right with the added benefit of having worked with Lebron.Wouldn’t David Griffin be the easy hire for the Sixers? Tons of experience, good with analytics and the media, has the Lebron connection, etc. Seems like the natural choice to bridge the Hinkie and the Colangelo eras.
Dan Brown is somewhere typing furiously.I hope this goes all the way to the Vatican.
Yeah this is my thought too, make this debacle into a better odds of adding LeBron and my understanding is Griffin runs in the same circles so may not even need too much front office staff changes.Wouldn’t David Griffin be the easy hire for the Sixers? They know what happened. They’re taking time because they can’t decide how to handle it.Yeah this is my thought too, make this debacle into a better odds of adding LeBron and my understanding is Griffin runs in the same circles so may not even need too much front office staff changes.
My concern is what is taking so long, time is of the essence. I understand unvestigation and making sure you're not getting into real legal harm, but seems increasingly clear cut.
Which concerns the hell out of me. There's only one answer here and it's not that hard. They know what happened. They’re taking time because they can’t decide how to handle it.
You think Lebron/Lebron's people have already informed Philly of roster moves?Maybe Colangelo has done a lot of work on the LeBron front already and the Sixers don't want to screw it all up. Colangelo might be working on setting up the trades/signings that James wants in place before he agrees to go there.
Should have used burner accountNo. I hereby retract and regret that post. Although player acquisition did move pretty quickly with his last two moves, and he was careful not to mention Wiggins in his Decision II letter, as if he knew he was gone.
If he had, wouldn't we know about it via Twitter by now?You think Lebron/Lebron's people have already informed Philly of roster moves?
YES! too funnyIf he had, wouldn't we know about it via Twitter by now?
Great. Now THATS ruined, too!How does your relative self-identify?
I’m not buying that this debacle increases the Sixers’ odds of getting LeBron — not because the story itself will make him less inclined to come to Philly (assuming Colangelo is gone in the next week or two), but because the club will be rudderless during the critical period where it needs to make its push to acquire him.Yeah this is my thought too, make this debacle into a better odds of adding LeBron and my understanding is Griffin runs in the same circles so may not even need too much front office staff changes.
