They only showed a quick replay, but that sure seemed like a big flop by Crowder on the call that went against Oubre.

This has been a great basketball game, especially if you're a one night only Sixers fan like me.
Officiating is hilariously in the tank for Milwaukee though. Between refusing to give Giannis #5 on an obvious charge review and not calling the obvious travel when he caught his own miss leading to a Dame 3. Midseason form.

Far worse than either flop tech called in the celtics game last night. Not only did he not get the tech but it was essentially a forced turnover.

I love that both Giannis and Embiid have 7 turnovers and both are 3/8 from the free throw line.
It's hard to believe the perennial MVP candidates miss shots and turn over the ball too.

Seeing Embiid and Philly already crying this much is sustaining me. Side note, when Nurse gets real whiny, he makes a face that reminds me of Donald Sutherland at the end of Invasion of the Body Snatchers.

I'd really enjoy seeing the Knicks, Sixers and Bucks on one side of the playoff bracket and us on the other.

17 free throw attempts for Lillard, 36 as a team. 10 for Maxey. 28 for Philly.

Embiid had 8, Giannis had 9.

26 FTAs for your stars. That must be nice to have.

So this Damian Lillard guy looks like he could turn out pretty good. Also, he's no Marcus Smart out there, but he did appear to be trying pretty hard on defense, and sometimes it helped.

Oubre, I hated Oubre on the Wizards, he was just an obnoxious thorn in our side in the Kelly Olynyk Series. But he was fun tonight - him and Maxey too. If I were a Philly fan I'd be so thrilled getting to watch Maxey grow into a star in front of their eyes. Guy adds value in a lot of ways.

Toss in Miami with that bunch, and I don't think it gets any better. We get Cleveland and whoever else.

I said it this summer, Philly is really fucking stupid for not offering up Maxey for Lillard. Their window is the next 2-4 years (or less if Embiid asks out), and Maxey just isn't good enough yet. Maybe they turn this chicken shit Harden situation into chicken salad, but it's hard to imagine a worse situation to be in when you have the returning league MVP still in his 20s.

1st Half, Phoenix is +15 with Durant playing and -10 in his six bench minutes. Sounds about right.

I hope Joe succeeds as the representative of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu that he is but I did think it would have been very fun to have this goof as HC.

Would Portland have been that interested in Maxey? They seem committed already to Simons and Scoot, would they really want another combo guard that needs the ball?

They actually used Jimmy Butler's season profile pic to advertise the upcoming national broadcasts.

Edit: Durant is en fuego. 30 points on 10-17 from the field. 0-1 from three

The guys in this game are moving so oddly and Durant is filling it up. When he is going it’s crazy.

You trade for Harden and you get what you deserve.. he should be a known quantity after the last few trades

The Lakers lucked into re-signing Reaves at a solid value, but otherwise their summer was wildly overrated (by some).

Hachimura stinks. Russell isn't much better. Vincent is OK. Wood, Reddish, Hayes, etc are bad.

This team needs 35-40 min of elite Lebron to be good.

Probably about as much interest as they had in Holiday. Maxey might not have been quite as moveable as Holiday (whom literally every single contending seemed to want), but he definitely has/had more value than Herro.

Yeah this has been my thought process all summer for them. The guys coming in aren't much better than the guys that left. The Reaves deal was really nice, but at the end of the day it's about hoping Lebron doesn't age and is available, and hoping Davis stays healthy and aggressive.

Harlan: "They are seeing what they have in... <Jordan Goodwin> for point guard".

Goodwin immediately turns it over to Vincent who scores.

I missed the NBA so much.

Reaves is overrated. Maybe he'll play a full season at a high level, but third banana on a title team? No thanks.

The number of times an NBA player gives up an automatic wide open fast break layup in favor of a 3 pointer is....... strange.

Does LeBron have a lower body or back injury. This guy is moving so oddly for him

Phoenix too, outside the otherworldly Kevin Durant.
Yep this Phoenix team is lousy and Durant is doing an incredible carry job. At least they have Booker and Beal out. This Laker team is not good and LeBron looks old and tired.

Seriously, is LeBron hurt or is he cooked. I’ve been only watching him and he looks like he’s hurt.

LeBron has looked like shit all game and the announcers are losing their minds over brief signs of life.

when he isn’t bursting he looks like a guy with a bad back. When he is bursting he can still move

LBJ should get hit with embellishing

Reggie Miller is just fucking awful. How he still has a job is amazing. No context, no analysis, just 2 hours of nonstop ball washing.

The lakers just went life and death vs durant and bums and he's ready to hang a banner.
