The Tahoe game was amazingTerrible game, great win.
That said, I liked Tahoe better.
I think they did it before the handshake line, you could hear the crowd react.Goalie hug a letdown TBH
Remember when the Patriots were at their peak, and they could play like dogshit for 3+ quarters, but never really be out of it because they just didn't beat themselves? And then they would play good for 6 minutes and win?Gotta be a pretty good team to win when you only play one period
In that case, fuck TNTI think they did it before the handshake line, you could hear the crowd react.
One D one E one B one R one U one S one KGotta be a pretty good team to win when you only play one period

So amazing to see him. I LOVED Johnny Bucyk. My mom met him working for the Bruins & Celtics team doctor in the early 60’s. Met all the others including RedBucyk was one of my favourite players, so sad to see him so crippled up.
this teams ability to turn it on when they need to is pretty incredible.7-0 on high-danger chances in the third. Mercy.
Pittsburgh got its first at 20:01 of the third.7-0 on high-danger chances in the third. Mercy.
And getting a new contract mixed in along the way. From wanting a trade a year ago to scoring the game-tying and game-winning goals in the big national game. Happy for Jake.
I’ll take my full serving of crow on JDB’s maturation away from Butch. I didn’t think he’d ever come to keep his feet moving night in, night out. I guess I just didn’t anticipate the salutary effects of The Full Monty. He’s balls out now. ;-)And getting a new contract mixed in along the way.

I saw that. It was both sticking up for 63, and maybe a little of making sure 63 doesn't lose his mind. Regardless, Debrusk is really a case study in something about pro athletes. Not for nothing, but DeBrusk also went flying in to grab someone who got tangled up with Marchand in the second. Like, to the point where the second Penguin in was there substantially later and couldn’t even get at Marchand because the linesman was in the way. He does that a surprising amount when he’s on.
Thanks for this observation. Jake used to be criticized for being simultaneously disengage/floating around the periphery and immature/overly emotional. This year‘s DeBrusk keeps his feet moving, goes to the right place at the right time and is a consummate team player. Being on a line with Bergeron and Marchand has set him on a fantastic path. Not for nothing, but DeBrusk also went flying in to grab someone who got tangled up with Marchand in the second. I started noticing it post-deadline last year. There were a couple games where he looked like the only guy playing for his teammates. Reading between the normally reticent hockey player lines, last season really seemed to be a down one, culture-wise. Winning can breed chemistry and all that, but this year seems a lot better in that regard, even if Nosek keeps getting his ass kicked by people who hit Pasta clean.I saw that. It was both sticking up for 63, and maybe a little of making sure 63 doesn't lose his mind. Regardless, Debrusk is really a case study in something about pro athletes.
Penguins' owner owns the rink, therefore road game?*This counts as a home win, right?
