"I wonder why Bally Sports is failing..."Not watching tonight because NHLNet, but the Panthers broadcast is among the worst in sports. Not just hockey, but any sport.
Exactly. Or perhaps the previous play not clearing it 3 times.I hate the "pin the puck against the boards with 20 seconds left" shit. Make a play and clear it.
Why? They were the better team all night.Deserved to lose. Meh.
I was like….you have to say it then…boomJack should be fired for that. Fucking jinx.
Thought they were sloppy most of the night, but you’re better judge. Noted. Why? They were the better team all night.
No he sucked tonight. They get two points with Ullmark. Hopefully he keeps them in it tomorrow.Swayman did not cover himself in glory
Just my opinion. If you see it differently than that’s your opinion, and you have a right to it. It is a message board after all.Thought they were sloppy most of the night, but you’re better judge. Noted.
He does it all the timeJack should be fired for that. Fucking jinx.
Please. They didn’t “fall apart” they scored to go ahead, and then gave up a goal that should have been stopped with 1 second left. They fell apart in the 3rd again, against a team that played the night before. With the high standard they've set for themselves that's a bit concerning.
Counter: by xGF%, the Bruins dominated the first (84.7% 5v5), then got decently outplayed the rest of the way (Florida’s 3rd period xGF% was 63.1%).Why? They were the better team all night.
NESN won’t even fire Dale Arnold so it is what it is.He does it all the time
(team) hasn't scored in their last 46 power plays
Boom. Goal.
The game I watched, the game got to OT because they couldn’t get the power play going. That was the difference.Counter: by xGF%, the Bruins dominated the first (84.7% 5v5), then got decently outplayed the rest of the way (Florida’s 3rd period xGF% was 63.1%).
It seemed to me that Florida controlled the 3rd until about the last few minutes. The puck was in their offensive end constantly.Please. They didn’t “fall apart” they scored to go ahead, and then gave up a goal that should have been stopped with 1 second left.
37% xGF in the third tonight and 33% in the 3rd against the Lightning. Just saying.Please. They didn’t “fall apart” they scored to go ahead, and then gave up a goal that should have been stopped with 1 second left.
Just saying, they were up 3-2 with 2 seconds left. They get one save and it’s over.37% xGF in the third tonight and 33% in the 3rd against the Lightning. Just saying.
Hell win 1 and it’s 5 points in 5 games on the borderline toughest trip of the year. Hardly a disaster.Win the next 2 and you’ve got 7 out of 10 on the road. Let’s do it.
Carlo cross-checked in the back, (#62) went down and then flailed helplessly at Barkov’s stick from his knees. I’m betting he wishes he’d gotten back up faster and made a play. That puck had eyes, though.Just saying, they were up 3-2 with 2 seconds left. They get one save and it’s over.
It was a shot that could have been stopped. That’s how playoff games are won.Carlo cross-checked in the back, (#62) went down and then flailed helplessly at Barkov’s stick from his knees. I’m betting he wishes he’d gotten back up faster and made a play. That puck had eyes, though.
Agreed. I think Carlo, quicker to his feet, would have had a real good chance of deflecting it or blocking it. Sway was subpar tonight but it looked on the replays like he got screened on that shot. It’s unfortunate. This is precisely how losing streaks start; bad puck drop, failures to finish, failure to finish the last 3 seconds of regulation… Carolina and the Leafs will both be hungry and we come to town with some bad habits creeping in. I hope they find a way not to swoon here.It was a shot that could have been stopped. That’s how playoff games are won.
