So...I didn't watch preseason hockey nor got to tune in until the start of the 3rd period, but Jack Edwards seemed a lot more coherent, quicker, & more accurate on his calls. Hopefully whatever it was last year has been sorted & he's doing ok.

All of my memories of JVR are tied to those playoff games against Philly 10 years ago where he looked like just about the most unstoppable player ever every time he touches the puck.

Feels surreal to see him potting goals for the B’s in 2023, and with Looch on the roster. Hockey is kind of funny that way.

All I recall with JVR is the 24/7 Winter Classic where they had Bryz mic’d up and he said “Save on Van Riemsdyk!” in his Bryz way.

Good win. Tough to assess much besides the stupidity of all the stick work, given the game flow, but a good character win. Swayman looked great.
