Yep, lot of people trotted out this excuse when they were third in the league in goals last year.BoSoxFink said:Why does it seem like the team is cobstantly snake bitten? It's a constant excuse for them

Eh, Smith telegraphed the pass then forced it. The right play there was to shoot or got to the high, middle guy. I like having a guy there on his off wing because the can shoot, drop on a backhand up top, or have an easier sauce to the far low guy. Problem is he didn't threaten either of the first two options at all, so everyone knew he was trying that pass.cshea said:That odd man rush is an example of when guys playing on their off wing comes back to bite you. Tougher play for Smith. Needs to open up to make the pass and then you're screwed.
It is frustrating but, much like BABIP, it tends to fix itself.BoSoxFink said:it was used the entire Montreal series and years prior to last years regular season.
There's no arguing this team could score in the regular season last year, that's fair
The team has played well tonight but they can't finish and it's very frustrating.
Chicago outshot Calgary 50-18 tonight and lost. No one is going to question their finishing. Games like this happen. And they'll win their fair share of games they get outshotBoSoxFink said:it was used the entire Montreal series and years prior to last years regular season.
