He’s actually looked a lot better with the puck to me this season. I’ve seen less tripping & falling & stickhandling into nowhere.
It’s just kind of the nature of the game. The best players always have the puck and thus turn it over a ton too. The league leaders in turnover rate is always like McDavid, Crosby, Draisaitl, Pastrnak etc.

Refs in this league would’ve typically blown that dead like 5-7 seconds before all that. No way they saw it the whole time.

As far as I am concerned we won this game 3-2 and, had the early penalties that were not called against the Habs actually called, then more like 4-2 or even 5-2. But its the NHL and its Montreal. Everybody on this board knows that well. Kinda sad, actually.
