Following a forgettable game against the Canadiens, and after having earned 24 points out of a possible 28 so far, the Bs take on the Sabres Tuesday night in Buffalo.

This is one of the best things I've done on this site. This will be my 7th? 8th? year doing this now? and it's always amazing.
I still have the John Lackey t-shirt you got me that one year.

I was in Toronto this past weekend, and there were a ton of Bruins fans in town for HoF induction weekend. The general mood at breakfast on Sunday morning in my hotel was "how the fuck did that happen?" A win over the Sabres would be a great palate cleanser.

Did I forget the words to the Canadian national anthem or did that guy mess it up?

Did the anthem singer just botch the Canadian National anthem? I think he skipped a verse and repeated part of another one.

Lohrei with a nice play at the offensive blue line on the first goal, but I hate those unprotected moves by d-men at the offensive blue line.

Really happy so far -- B's look like they have taken Monty's concerns to heart. But I am now getting worried about Jake. One goal and 5 points in what is now the 15th game (27 and 50 in 64 games last year). What's up? anyone know?

Why are they singing the Canadian anthem at a game between two "US" teams? Do they do that in Buffalo due to its proximity to Canada?

He definitely fucked it up. The line should’ve been “From far and wide/O Canada/We stand on guard for thee”, and he just got eager to get to the O Canada part.
Did Buffalo move to Canada? Or do they sing it for all their home games due to proximity?
IIRC, you can see the Sabres’ arena from the Peace Bridge. It’s proximity.

I loved so much about both goals. This team, man…

I love me some Pasta, but I'm seeing a lot of him admiring his shot/passes and/or giving up on the play after missing or having the puck stolen.
