The unstoppable 2-0-3 run rolls on.

I'd advise the Bruins to remind the Golden Knights that they are bad, and with a bad name, but it seems like other teams have tried that and it hasn't worked to date.

On the plus side, VGK have lost on consecutive nights in NYC, and got lit up for 6 goals in each game.

Posted in the ticket thread but our seats for this (and next 2) are available. I'm on a plane but should be able to send them 4ish or so.

Vegas is down to their like 5th goalie. Fleury is injured. Subban is injures.Traded Pickard. Oscar Dansk was next and he got hurt on Monday. They’re onto Maxime Legace, and have a kid up from the WHL on an emergency recall.

So score 10 please.

Not only that, how many M. Legaces that are mediocre NHL goalies that could conceivably be playing for the Golden Knights and not backing up for the Coyotes, Panthers, or Blue Jackets.

Career .912 sv% and #5 in Vezina voting in the post lockout year - and had his name misspelled in the engraving on the Cup (LAGASE).

I know at least one M. Legace that doesn't get enough god damn respect.

Does the NHL allow teams to loan players? I know teams do it at the AHL level but not sure how that would work with waiver rules. Seems like that would be useful in a situation like this.

Bs don't have bottom 6 forwards; they have a bottom 9. Probably hope to keep it close for 45 minutes, then give bigger minutes to whichever 6 of the 9 are useful tonight for the rest.

We're really seeing the cumulative effect of injuries now. They just need to keep cashing in on the power play and try to grind their way 5 on 5 to get points like they did the other night against Columbus.

They should win tonight even with the depleted lineup. Maxime Lagace, not to be confused with Manny Legace as noted above, is in goal for Vegas. He had an .883 save percentage in the AHL last season. He has given up 9 goals on 48 shots this season in 2 NHL games. No reason the Bruins should score plenty tonight.

Think we've got

Marchand - Bergeron - Pastrnak
Heinen - Szwarz - Bjork
Schaller - Nash - DeBrusk
Beleskey - Kuraly - Czarnik

Pasta had him if his stick didn't get hit. Wouldn't have liked if that was a penalty. But that's more me hating the new rule.

Great recovery D by Mac despite getting beat with speed, forced the F to cut in at such a strong angle he blew a tire. Unless there was skate on skate contact...but it was not a hold.

I only got to watch the first tonight because of a work engagement, but as uneven as it was it seemed like they came out with a chip on their shoulder and ready to go tonight. If they can stay away from full period doldrums like the first against Columbus, I think they will be alright. The experience is probably great for the younger guys, too.

I don't expect a President's Cup or anything, but if they can continue to gel and get better playing together, and find some semblance of a healthy lineup come next spring, I think they are a team who could be tough to play against in a 7 game series.

Long, long, long way to go, though.

.
For a fifth string goalie, I thought he was pretty impressive.

He's also playing against a team relying on a sixth and seventh string center. So water finding its level to a degree?
