I'm about to make the long trek to the Garden for this one. I got great seats -- overpaid a little but I think it's gonna be worth it.

It’s clever of @cshea to acknowledge that the opponents and the game location are irrelevant to the fu#king wagon of his gamethreading.

Winfs? Stars? Dallas? Detroit? Who cares.

Keep rolling. Score early, score often. Win.

Yeah flew non-stop from Honolulu and landed at 5:45am. I’m all screwed up.

Also I read Down Goes Brown’s Weekend Rankings last week and he didn’t have the Bruins in the top 5 but wrote a few paragraphs saying we’ll know more about then as the schedule gets tougher with the Panthers, Leafs and Stars coming up. So I had it in my head that that was the upcoming schedule and didn’t look.

You, sir, are an inspiration. Make sure you top off your Camelbak of Mai Tais first.
Yeah, I wish. Unfortunately, the drink of choice will be something a little less exotic.

Does anyone have a guesstimate on lines and D pairings? I missed Thursday night's game, so I'm not sure how they lined up.

Jim Montgomery provides lineup updates ahead of tonight's game in Detroit: "James van Riemsdyk is moving up to play left wing with Zacha back at center and Pastrnak on the right and Poitras is going to be centering Geekie and Frederic."
Van Riemsdyk-Zacha-Pastrnak
Marchand-Coyle-DeBrusk
Frederic-Poitras-Geekie
Heinen-Beecher-Steen

Montgomery‘s moving Poitras off the 1st line tonight to manage his minutes a bit.

Forbort is a game time decision. If he’s still shelved they’ll likely stick with
Lindholm-Shattenkirk
Lohrei-Carlo
Wotherspoon-Mitchell

Excellent, thank you. I'm looking forward to seeing Lohrei. Hope he sticks for good.

One thing to look for with Lohrei is that in the last game, and even the one minute of this one, he seems to have a really good awareness of where his other players are and his passes, even the more difficult ones, are almost always right on the mark. Quite refreshing. Hope that continues.
