Thank god. Let's just hope he isn't back on there by next week.

Also of note, the B's did not retroactively LTIR him for cap space which I think they had every reason (capwise) and justification (in terms of a legit injury) in doing so had they chosen to.

The cap thing that's confusing to me is why they're still carrying 9 D (including McQuaid). There's no reason to still be carrying Joe Morrow along. It doesn't make sense from both a salary cap and a player development standpoint.

God dammit, just waive Campbell for fuck's sakes

Overshadowed a great play by Loui while losing his balance

Loui has been fantastic tonight with his work off the puck. The setup for Söderberg's shot off the post was silky as well.

Would be an incredible boost if he's really (finally) turning the corner

Yeah that made no sense. I'm not a great X's and O's guy, but as a defender there I think you try to take away Bergy's dump in or carry wide along the boards. You'd simply let the goalie handle shots from there since 99 times out of 100 that's an easy whistle or a free clear.

Unless you're going to body him, which Suter(?) was about to do if Bergy took another stride, you keep him wide in the hopes of a dump in or lazy shot from far away. That's just on crazy puck luck for Boston. Nothing anybody really did wrong once Bergeron gained the zone.

They didn't get too many Canadians playing for Minnesota back then. He's from Niagara Falls.

Which side?

Excellent kill.

This is where I point out that the Bruins are the only team in the league to not have a 5-on-3 power play this season.

Don't hold your breath. The next time he hits someone will be the first time.

Lucic tripped, Chara interfered with on the near boards, high-stick to the face of Griffiths or Krug—forget which—on the near boards in MN's end… sigh. They just do not call shit on Bruins' opponents.

Doc said it early in the first.  Krecji back means that Soderberg is the 3rd line center.  3 good lines are a lot harder to match up against than two.

Anywho, this team looks a LOT better tonight despite the tilted ice at the end of that period.  Sveddy has been excellent as well.
