Washington used Grubauer last night so, yay, we get Holtby. B's are 3-6-4 against Washington since the 2012 playoff series. So, we're due, right? Feels like any points taken out of tonight's game would be a huge bonus.

I think there is a chance we see Rask in net tonight. Not ideal to have him play this much, but they really need to bank as much points as possible. In the short term, the team has some breaks coming up. They play tonight and Saturday, then have 4 days off. Then a 3 games in 4 day stretch at the end of next week at home before they get their bye week. Maybe Zane goes tonight, but I wouldn't be surprised if they try and push Rask through this stretch.

Gotta be Rask tonight.

Well, it will be a while before I can watch a game again, because my DirecTV has been disconnected for our upcoming move (and because lawyer fees are killing me). But the next time I get to watch I will be in Northern California instead of Southern New Mexico.

The Bruins winning all of their games until then would be pretty awesome.

I'm not feeling good about this back-to-back. Caps were 12-2-2 in January.

Bruins really need to dig deep tonight.

Rask doesn't have much choice on that shot...perfect placement by Niskinen. The bitch was 5 guys watching the puck and no one (looking at you Marchand) picking up Backstrom sneaking down into the slot.

Edit: CMiller did the same thing about 3 minutes earlier but Washington had the slot clogged up and blocked out anyone from getting to the rebound.

McQuaid with his patented "skate the puck to the boards then turn it over" move there.

Had Carlo even committed a penalty at the end of the 2nd? I saw a domino effect where a Bruin caved in Carlo and then the Capital he'd been battling with went down - but it looked more like he'd fallen than been interfered with or tripped.
