MYRTLE BEACH!!!!
I've often heard there is a penalty on every play. I've just never seen the refs call every one. The flags in the Orange Bowl are nuts. Not saying the infractions aren't happening. Just never seen this many flags.

Of all of the great defensive players I've seen in college this year, Vic Beasley is at the top of the list for me.

Jesus.  These guys are giving all they've got.  Miller is clearly injured and running on fumes.

Also, they should fire Clemson's secondary coach mid-game.

This Orange bowl has the potential to be one of the best games of all time, but for the penalties.  There is literally a flag on every play it seems.

I missed that d penalty on the sidelines. What was it?

I don't know. Play was to the other side of the field. Second sideline penalty tonight on Clemson. I'm 50 and I've never seen one.

"delay of game by the Clemson sideline.  5 yard penalty, results in a first down.  Next penalty on the Clemson sideline will be 15 yards."

Not sure what they did to delay the game, but "crowding onto the field / white area" seems the most likely.  Just general lack of respect for the officiating.  I'm no fan of tOSU, but the Clemson coaches have been giving themselves a hernia screaming at and berating the refs all game.

You can't drive the quarterback into the ground with all of your weight like that.  Just can't per the rules.  I agree it's a tough call, but it's one that always will.  If the defender doesn't leave his feet and drive him to the ground, it's not called.

I don't think he did anything but follow through the tackle. Ridiculous call, even with the rule.

Sammy Watkins beat up too. He looks like end-of-career Vladimir Guerrero staggering around there...and is still similarly awesome.

Yeah a critical call, it would have been nice if they explained it or showed a replay on it.   Seems like an odd call as it occurred on the opposite sideline from where the play happened

Mizzou's receivers have had close plays ruled sideline catches three times tonight, overturning out of bounds calls on the field.

Tajh Boyd didn't need to step out there, he could have run it in with minimal contact with a little better footwork.

Hope he can get it in the next few plays and avoid a boneheaded mistake.
