Packers-Cardinals could mean more in the playoff raceAnyone want to provide odds that the week 16 game between the Pats and Jets gets flexed, especially if the Pats win @ Denver? Currently the Ravens/Steelers is the Sunday Night game, and I can't believe that they keep that game there, nor do I see a ton of week 16 alternatives. Panthers/Falcons and Packers/Cards are the only other games that I see that could be put in that spot.
I blame you. I'm sure there are others, but this one is mine.Anyone want to provide odds that the week 16 game between the Pats and Jets gets flexed, especially if the Pats win @ Denver? I totally read that as "... gets fixed". I've been reading the goat thread too much.Anyone want to provide odds that the week 16 game between the Pats and Jets gets flexed, especially if the Pats win @ Denver? The clown show may be over, but the talent - aside from the D line - is getting really old.
I call bullshit. There's no way that you weren't crazy excited about Sexy Rexy's 09-10 teams. Firemen Ed was making thousands of dollars for personal appearances, Greenwich cougars and their daughters were making b-lines to Mark Sanchez, you couldn't buy green and white Zubaz if you wanted to given how crazy Jets nation was about the team. The Jets were so freaking good that Sean Berry was routinely posting.Love this team this year. Probably my favorite team since 2002, but doesn't look like playoffs are going to happen. I can't see KC or PITT dropping any remaining regular season games.
If NY somehow wins 2 and KC/PIT both win 2 also, NY can still get in over DEN if they lose once. KC would win the division and NY has the tiebreaker on DEN.Love this team this year. Probably my favorite team since 2002, but doesn't look like playoffs are going to happen. I can't see KC or PITT dropping any remaining regular season games.

How does gam gam feel about this years Jets?Love this team this year. Probably my favorite team since 2002, but doesn't look like playoffs are going to happen. I can't see KC or PITT dropping any remaining regular season games.
Phrasing?Yeah, they're not going to make it, just saying there's a third way.
I wish it required two hands. Think more like how a lady holds her teacup.Left and right hands?
Oh man, everyone that lived in the house with me is dead. My buddy calls me the reaper because my aunt and uncle I lived with (like siblings to me) died in their 30s. They all would hate the Jets. She would love Fitzpatrick though just because of his potato eating name. How does gam gam feel about this years Jets?
Dammit well that worked about as well as the time I told Riley I slept with his wife. Turns out she was in a coma.
Hilarious all around.I call bullshit. There's no way that you weren't crazy excited about Sexy Rexy's 09-10 teams. On Monday, Patriots coach Bill Belichick was asked about the possibility of resting players in the next two weeks with a first round bye already wrapped up and several key players already lost for the season to injuries. He said that there needs to be a balance with trying to win, but that it’s something the team has to think about doing in order to be as close to full strength as possible for the postseason.
“We’ll just have to do the best that we can to balance all those things out,” Belichick said via a transcript distributed by the team. “That’s something we’ll have to give some thought to and get as much information as possible because there are some guys that are in various states of physical health. We’ll have to work our way through all that. It’s definitely a challenging situation. I wish I had a cleaner answer on it, but really we’re just going to have to work it out.”
I was once at a bachelor party and one of the other guys was engaged to an ex of mine from college. I barely knew him. The girl was pregnant. We were all high on mushrooms sitting around a fire drinking bourbon and talking about our families. I was relaying some anecdote about my kid being cute or projectile vomiting or maybe both, and I turned to the guy and said something along the lines of "and you'll be enjoying that soon enough." He didn't say much. Found out the next day that she had miscarried less than a week before the party.Your name is buck and you like to fuck?
Don't worry, one time in grad school I shared an office with a pregnant girl in another department (I was not the father) anyway, had an office switch, saw the girl and her husband a year later and asked really nicely "hey, how's the baby?"
Baby died shortly after child birth. I didn't know. That was a great moment in my life.
Interesting take and, if true, a lesson Rexy has never learned."I'm sure they're not going to lose too much sleep over it," Bowles said. "We needed it more than they did. We're just trying to play the game the right way and not get too high over a win or too low over a loss, because that affects you the next week. ... But you can't sit back and exhale until the season's over. I can exhale for two hours and then it's like, 'Oh s---, it's Buffalo on Monday.' That's the life of a coach.""
Good win for the Jets.WOOOOOOOO
That out of the way, the Rex Bowl takes on a lot of importance. Pats did some very non pats things in the game today but also got a fluky TD.
Hope Ivory and Powell are close to 100% and that Rexys players have quit on him.
It is what they said and it doesnt make sense to me either, but I pay almost zero attention to pro bowl so don't know who was going over himFirst question is Mo, if I heard correctly, did they say it was his first pro bowl selection? Even with how meaning less that is, how is that possible?
Despite being great He's only had one ten sack season. You need sacks to play in the pro bowlBowles appears to be a really good coach and I am not thrilled that he is the Jets coach. They finally got one right, not lets see how the GM does over the next few years.

Good win for the Jets.
Not sure which TD you're referring to as "fluky" - the fumble/return TD was a great play on Sheard's part. All Jets TDs were legit.
Powell has been a revelation. That's a real credit to Bowles to get this much production out of him. Return of a healthy Enunwa is an underrated factor in the run game.
It was a bit of luck, in the same way that all fumble recoveries involve some luck. That said, the Pats are currently first in the league in sacks, and first in forced fumbles so, as they say, you create your own luck.Fluky is the wrong word as it was totally earned. It was about as close to an incomplete pass as you can get without being an incomplete pass. And the Jets linemen should have fallen on it.
