Yep, hopefully Can will be healthy by then.I believe that yellow means Hendo is out for the next leg
Gotta believe Klopp lines up the midfield as defensive as possible for Tuesday. Probably looks like Milner, Wijnaldum, Can
This. One goal winsHe has to try to score. I can see City putting 3 in, I don’t know about 5.
The problem is the ability to maintain that press for 90 minutes, which is why the 4-1 lead in the league game became 4-3 late. Every Liverpool player was absolutely gassed the last 10 minutes plus stoppage time in that earlier meeting.I'd argue that Liverpool was actually better defensively in the first half when the press was on as opposed to the more laid back approach once Salah came out. City's defenders could not effectively pass out of the back and ignite a counter attack. Liverpool did the same thing in their win earlier this season.
Sane had a ton of space to operate but couldn't deliver the crucial pass at all. KVB looked like he was going to strangle him at one point. Looked like the game was a little too big for him.City had their chances too, they just didn't convert. A fair result from that game would probably look like 4-2. Sane, in particular, was great at everything but the final touch.
I know the point you're talking about, and I actually agreed with the announcers that Sane was right to take that shot on. He was central, he wasn't being closed down, and he got into the box. He had a window in which to score, and he just missed it, but it wasn't a poor decision, just a badly executed shot.Sane had a ton of space to operate but couldn't deliver the crucial pass at all. The scenario your talking about I agree with. It was the equivalent of a basketball fast break where the defenders run to cover the open shooters but leave the lane wide open for a layup. Throughout the game however, I thought Liverpool was comfortable giving Sane space and he had plenty of chances, but just couldn't make the right play.I know the point you're talking about, and I actually agreed with the announcers that Sane was right to take that shot on. Nope - that was Sane who made that weak crossfield pass that had no chance of reaching a City player that lead to Salah's opening goal..I know the point you're talking about, and I actually agreed with the announcers that Sane was right to take that shot on. KDB made his share of errors too, I think it was his pass that was intercepted that led to the counter and Liverpool's first goal. For a player who's probably one of the best dozen or so players in the world, his lack of brilliance was perhaps City's biggest problem. Well, that and Aguero's thigh injury, which may or may not keep him out from the return leg.
After the past two seasons, it would have been insane to continue with Dracula. Tuchel has the chops to succeed there, but will he butt heads with management like he did (IIRC) with Dortmund. Many reports from Germany that Tuchel will join PSG on a 2-year contract.
Don't you have a Neuro-hygienist or something who can handle most of the actual brain cleanings leaving you to come in for a quick once over while the ref is pacing off a free kick? If not you should get one.Hoping for easy patients so I can catch most of the match......
Really not much there. Should've just booted it up and reset. On him either way, would've been a bailout call. And let me help you by preemptively giving an eff you to Lahoz.Lol no call on van Dijk getting shoved?
