Firmino! Great combination play by Moreno and Henderson to set that up
I was initially angry at Henderson for not pulling the trigger.
CL adboards make Anfield look weird.
Nice move and pass by Moreno to set up Firmino for the equalizer.
In a flash, Liverpool got 5-6 players forward. That was one hell of a counter
Can juuuuuust wide.
Keita finishes that.
Nice move from Pulisic, the pass wasn´t perfect, so Alderweireld could defend it.
Edit: Son and Kane scored from that position...
Salah! He deserves some luck at this point
HAHAHA deflected goal I'll take it.
That's not considered an OG?
Wonder if the tackle hurt Navas as much as the ensuing self-barrel roll
Shot was assumed to have been on target without the deflection, so unless it's going wide it's not an OG
Firmino picked the right side but outside of the post... that could hurt
That was a hand ball and a rugby tackle.
Wow. A lot of really nice goals in the first half of today's game.
Yarmolenko and Kane look like the best so far.
How' Aurier done?
Keeper was off the line early, but gets away with it.
Well on the whole that's got to be the best 45 minutes I've ever seen Alberto Moreno play
How much can you jinx him? I mean, are you betting on an own goal+penalty+red card for him in the 2nd half?
Getting put on an island against Pulisic and not handling it well. For an American Spurs fan it's tough to watch.
True - and he's already halfway to the red card
Spurs should have just gone up 3-1 however Kane blasted a shot high. If he had seen him, he had an easy layoff to Son for a goal.
As I'm typing this Son just misses another.
Aubameyang gets a goal stolen through offside. Although about 4 Dortmund players were passive offside in front of him, so it wasn´t really easy to see...
And Kane makes it 3-1.
He is such a good finisher.
That's a first (Sevilla manager getting himself sent off for throwing the ball away from Joe Gomez twice)
Ha, that's the second time Sevilla's coach tossed away a ball before a Liverpool player could throw it in, and he gets ejected for it.
Yep. That's why on that one earlier where he could have laid it off to Son you can't get upset. He's gonna shoot.
And it was a very nice ball out to him from Eriksen.
Ramos with a bycicle finish..
Moreno's gotta be real careful here...
This Spurs-Dortmund match is really one of the best games I've seen in a while. Just end to end.
Lloris with great save, leading to counter and Spurs corner...
How on earth did Correa corral that pass? Thought it was too far behind him to be able to do anything with it - regardless, penalty miss comes back to haunt Liverpool
Out of nothing...
That was coming, since they've missed so many chances to pull away.
Shots are 22-3, by the way.
Wow. Kane missed one with the left foot on the far post. Now that is a first.
Spurs are so much better with Son on the field than Sissoko; once he is 100 percent fit I hope we see Sissoko as a substitute only, or as a depth piece that you can start when you want to conserve some guys energy for CL.
So Coutinho looks rusty
87' corners against the run of play don't make me nervous at all
Muriel should have snatched it for Sevilla... heart-in-mouth moment at 90+3'
Rough first 30 minutes or so, but grew into the game very well once he found his legs. His athleticism is really impressive
Agreed. I think his athleticism may dwarf Walker's and it's gonna be fun seeing him fly up the flank. Big fan of him and Sanchez additions.
So, he did this:
Was that supposed to be a good play? Missing a cross (I don´t know if someone touched it in front of him, but it seems like it bounces in front of him and the Dortmund guy could have made a play on that) and then dribbling past a player? I´m not impressed by that scene.
Showed a pretty good burst of speed and deception.
Dortmund got screwed with a handball, only to have Real Madrid score on an amazing goal by Gareth Bale.
Keita should have 3 yellow cards by now and is still on the field, as Timo Werner was injured and RB Leipzig coach had to sub him off, while he wanted to take Keita off. RB does nothing so far and trails rightly so far.
How has it taken like 10 minutes to get Rebrov off the pitch?
edit: even longer now to get their backup on
Not much action here today--but, uh, go Kane!
Hat trick leads Spurs on the road.
So which is the game to watch right now:
Chelsea/Atletico or PSG/Bayern?
