Reid would just fuck the challenge up at some other point in the game, so really it's no big loss to him.
Yes, he was.Was he still holding him with the ball in the air?
WTF because they didn’t call holding. That whole line of discussion from the broadcasting crew was lazy.I don't get that. if they can review the contact relative to the tip of the pass, they should reverse it....it CLEARLY was not PI until after the tip (though it was holding earlier on)
If they can say "it was a hold anyway" prior to the tip, then it is not reviewable.
WTF?
Yeah that was a poorly officiated sequence. Essentially made the review a subjective call which I didn't think they allowed for.I don't get that. if they can review the contact relative to the tip of the pass, they should reverse it....it CLEARLY was not PI until after the tip (though it was holding earlier on)

Yeah, to be clear, not really a complaint about fairness because he was clearly being held.WTF because they didn’t call holding. That whole line of discussion from the broadcasting crew was lazy.
Can only take one foul in the NFL “per play”. (With some exceptions, such as contacting an official). One is a live-ball foul and one is a post-play foul. I'll gladly stand corrected if @CFB_Rules can say that it was enforced properly. I knew both fouls were called and he was suspended, but I was under the impression they should have both been enforced.
As for the other stuff, seriously, imagine if Burfict tweeted a death threat at a Steeler. The world might literally end, but when Vince Williams does it it's just good ol' Steeler football.
McAuley inadvertently pulled the curtain back on an unofficial NFL process. He said he would have told the coach that the play was unchallengeable since he knew it was a sure loss. That sort of thing happens all the time but isn’t super public.McCauley was trying to argue that it would be a penalty anyway because of defensive holding, but the refs didn’t call defensive holding. They called PI.
The Chargers would also need to lose.Just checking, if Chiefs lose this and next week, would Pats have the tiebreaker?
