And the Panthers win on a 63 yard FG to win it.

They just showed a shot of Eli; he looks confused, dumbfounded and bewildered.

Oh wait, check that; that's how he always looks.

No flag in Cleveland? Balt literally tackles the Cle receiver---complete takedown.

Embarassing for NFL if they don't fix this in the huddle

Even if uncatchable (not totally clear) it still is holding, guy was tackled before the ball was thrown.

Ya. Zero good replays. No measurement. I really thought Cam spiked it on 4th down
If the call on the field is short, I don’t think they can overturn and give the first. Giants have become experts at both beating themselves and getting screwed in crazy ways in the same game.

That was an absurdly bad throw by Mayfield.

*unless the camera angle tricked me.

The Browns need 5 yards and run three straight super low-percentage plays.

Landry got decked in the middle of a route but somehow no call.

So what I gathered from that not being a flag, if you're covering the other teams star receiver and you see the ball is in the air but not near him, just lay him the fuck out

Not Lynn (or Ocean Side)
Carolina maybe made a 3rd and 1...no TO left. Spiked it and then hit a 63 yarder to win it.
I saw that play, the spike to stop the clock, and the following pass out of bounds that brought it to :06. Then I got a Honda commercial, a local Philly commercial, and then a minute of Eagles-Vikings pregame. Why couldn’t they just have waited 30 seconds?!?

This is just me complaining into the abyss.

That's Exhibit 1-A for illegal contact, it doesn't matter whether the ball is catchable on that foul.
Ball was in the air when the big hit happened, so it’s either DPI or no call.

The other DB was riding the receiver past 5 yards, so they could’ve called illegal contact for that, but I’ll bet that gets ignored 90% of the time in a late-game situation like that.

But... If Landry was allowed to run... The ball may not have been ruled as uncatchable. It was overthrown...but he would have been within 7, 8 yards or it?

The replay in Cle does suggest the ball was in air, so holding/illegal contact can't be made.

Still a horrible call, you can't call uncatchable when you prevent the receiver from getting anywhere near end of pattern, IMO...there's just no way to be sure.

Steratore is horrible as a "Rules analyst" all he seems to be doing is trying out for the gig of being the NFL's prime excuse-making "Supervisor of Referees"

Thanks. Pretty much what the analyst just said as well.

Between the guy riding Landry the whole way and getting full form tackled, he might have ended up near the ball.
