Is that really cruel as a par 4? Seems you can just aim for the left side of the green off the tee to give yourself a long eagle opportunity or if they opt for the fairway it's a pitching wedge with a ton of backspin in the middle of the right side of the green.4 is nuts. 230 yard par 4, pin tucked right behind the bunker.
Do you watch golf? His game has gone to shit. This is why I don't bet. I would have thought Spieth would be the favorite.
7 tournaments so far this year for Spieth. His best finish is 30th. That's quite horrendous. I'm surprised his odds aren't worse but Spieth does have the best first 20 rounds at Augusta in the history of the Masters. So obviously he's had some success there. One thing that helps him is that you can be sloppy off the tee and still score. Spieth is sloppy.Do you watch golf? His game has gone to shit.
I have this weird suspicion that Spieth is going to do well this week.7 tournaments so far this year for Spieth. His best finish is 30th. That's quite horrendous. To your point, which I agree with, he admittedly played awful in 2016 and was leading at the turn on Sunday. He flew in his swing coach that Saturday night because of how poorly he was hitting the ball that week. He can definitely get around Augusta without his A game. The problem was that his miss all week (and his whole life) is short right. And on Sunday on 12 that's the one miss you can't have. He said his mistake there wasn't the shot he hit, it was not overcorrecting enough for the short right miss like he knows he should have.Spieth’s been a disaster but he’s in a “don’t rule him out at Augusta until he proves otherwise” category for me, which is why I said the 20-1 could be as good a price on him here as you’ll get. If he has a good week here despite being a basket case, he’ll be a favorite pretty much every year going forward.
That's awesome, gonna be bookmarking this one specifically... got a 50/1 on Stenson a couple months back (60/1 last I checked though, doh)This thing is super fucking cool: https://www.masters.com/en_US/scores/track/hole_view/index.html?pid=21528
I watch the MastersDo you watch golf? His game has gone to shit.
And it wasn't just one bad hole. It was bogey, bogey, bogey. Not good.Matsui is +3 after 3. Not the best start, I had high hopes for him this week.
It should say, "Matsuyama."And it wasn't just one bad hole. It was bogey, bogey, bogey. Not good.
I keep telling myself it's early, but yeahTiger looks confident, comfortable and completely in control so far. Watch out.
I think Tiger was the last time someone outside the top 10 after day 1 won it. Back in like 2001 or something.I heard something this morning (not sure if I heard it correct) that a large number of recent Masters winners have been in the top 10 after the first day. It's so important to get off to a good start.
No kidding, even with a solid second shot you're looking at 40' over a ridge half the timeFirst look at the new 5th. Looks like a beast.
14 bogey to 2 birdies on that hole so far.No kidding, even with a solid second shot you're looking at 40' over a ridge half the time
Fuckin' right!Corey Conners, who Monday qualified to the Valero last week and then won to get his Masters invite, goes birdie, birdie, eagle on 13-15 to get to -3.
Eat shit.Nice bunker on 7 but he'll miss the putt
