Stupid stupid stupid
Why do you feel this way? It is baked in with this guy except at the margins. Interceptaverde. Eventually, like Parcels, you adjust at the margins going in — this is what you get from him.

They are splooging over a world restored when Watt comes back for playoffs. . The world will be restored when Hou has to post at Bal or KC

It really is amazing watching non Patriot teams play. other teams are so dumb it kind of takes away from their accomplishmrnts the last 20 years.

Another way to view it is that Belichick and Brady have ruined the NFL for us. We now hold to a standard of intelligence and competence that just isn't in evidence, for all but maybe 3-4 teams around the league. The guy who is arguably the second best coach in the league has routine brain farts and a coaching achilles heel so longstanding and obvious that it's mocked by casual observers (Andy Reid's time management). John Harbaugh didn't know the rulebook and got Belichicked hard in the 2014 Divisional game. Coaching failures, tactical failures abound.

Before Billy Beane and the sabrmetrics revolution started to convince people that "hey, maybe walks are valuable!" and related brainstorms, baseball management was probably an even worse den of groupthink and incompetence. Luckily that has raised the baseline of expectations in that sport. The baseline for the NFL hasn't changed at all - instead of copying Belichick, they just tease him for being grumpy or something, and continue to lose.

Reverse take. It enhances the Patriots by comparison.
It does.

This whole Buffalo business underscores
How spoiled we are. We could easily lose because we play poorly or Buff plays very well. Yet when it was suggested in here that maybe It was a good thing that Steelers beat Buffalo, it was met with “fuck that — if they can’t beat Bills that means we should not get a bye.” This in a year the offense has basically sucked all season.

Myself for having too much hope.

I read some stat the Bucs are like 5-1 when Jameis throws a first drive INT prior to this game (I have in no way verified this stat).

It’s not that other teams are stupid. It’s that culture is really hard to build, but if you can do it well, it’s perhaps the only true sustainable competitive advantage in the sport.

In his pregame hype, describing the challenges of stopping the Niners stud tight end, Deion said “the league has no answers for Kerry Kittles!”

Villanova sheds a nostalgic tear.

I wish I had bet the Rams this game. The 49ers will still likely win but anyone expecting a lopsided SF win maybe bought too much into how good the team is.

9ers going 11-5 and losing @NO wildcard weekend is going to be disappointing for their fans

This 9ers team seems like it peaked too early. They more than anyone need HFA. Can't see this team winning from the 5 seed.
