I really like replay, but yeah these are ridiculous, where a guy is clearly safe but maybe popped off for a microsecond while finishing his slide.
Agreed. Replay reviews are great, but not this off-the-bag-for-a-millisecond part of it. No idea how to fix it with a rule, though.
He clearly doesn't trust Sanchez and they don't really trust Corbin mid-inning.

Given that he got a cortisone shot three days ago, it’s kind of heroic that he was even able to pitch. But Scherzer has to be done here.
I mean, have you seen their at bats? They’re lost again. Obviously that can change in a hurry but they’re quickly running out of time.

Agreed. Gomes' glove has been all over the place, and Scherzer, while battling, isn't hitting his spots nearly as well as Greinke. Not surprised he's getting some gifts.
Getting multiple inches on BOTH sides makes any pitcher look amazing. Ridiculous job by home ump tonight
