What it really is is shades of Joe Maddon.

Dude had a starter in Game 7 who was cruising and in a fit of hubris overmanaged his team to the brink. Hinch should be as lucky as Maddon was in that game.

Greinke just gave up a homer and walked a guy. It was the right move to pull him for the best reliever on the team.
