I know. My comment had nothing to do with how well he did in November and everything to do with how good he is. He missed one cut in his last 20 starts, and was -1 in that one.The course they played in the fall isn't the same course they are playing this week. This week will favor guys that understand the right places to miss it and strategize around the course.
Fair enough. Carry on!I know. My comment had nothing to do with how well he did in November and everything to do with how good he is. He missed one cut in his last 20 starts, and was -1 in that one.
He should bring Joaquin Niemann with him. Damn those guys are skinny.Zalatoris need to go eat a hamburger or twenty
Think so. Also threw his ball into the water. He is fired up!Did Kim break his putter?
They just showed the replay. Didn't look all that bad, a run of the mill putter slam.Think so. Also threw his ball into the water. He is fired up!
Sergio used a driver before. I don't think there's really a great option. Wood has less loft but a long shaft and flat lie angle. Blading a wedge leaves little room for error, but you can set up more normally.Like Strange, I'm surprised he's putting with the 3-wood. Most guys blade a wedge.
Bogeys on 3 of the last 4 holesThe defending champion will be going home for the weekend. Not a great round for DJ.
He won't actually be going home, of course. (Still has to put a jacket on someone.)The defending champion will be going home for the weekend. Not a great round for DJ.
Players needing toWolff DQ’d for reporting a wrong score. He was going to miss the cut anyway but apparently signed for a 4 on 17 when he clearly made a 5.
They don’tPlayers needing to keep their own score may be my favorite part of pro golf.
So his competitor told him it was a 5 and he wrote a 4?They actually don’t even keep their own score. They keep their competitor’s.
No his competitor wrote down a 4 and Wolff didn’t correct it when attesting. He probably didn’t really care and look at the card carefully because he missed the cut anyway. So his competitor told him it was a 5 and he wrote a 4?
Weird, thanks. It may be semantics, but 1) Why is this necessary these days on the pro tours? 2) How does he know if the 4 is correct/incorrect, and the other 17 holes, if he doesn't keep his own score? He seemingly still has to with this attestation process 3) Back to #1No his competitor wrote down a 4 and Wolff didn’t correct it when attesting. Do we really not think these guys keep their own score to compare when they need to attest? I have to think they are tracking their own along with their playing partner.Weird, thanks. 4) It would be fun if they had this for bowling, or something.
Of course but they are not writing down their scores on their official scorecard they turn in. Their competitor writes it down then the player attests them at the end.Do we really not think these guys keep their own score to compare when they need to attest? I accept bourbon or wine.Is @Lupe Whalewatch paying @TFP a finders fee on Zalatoris?
I’ve ordered enough merch from them for me to be considered paid up.Is TFP paying NLU a finders fee?
Same as JT does, their swings and builds are very similar. They use their lower body to generate incredible speed and hit the ball on the dead center of the clubface every time. How does a skinny guy like Zalatoris hit the ball as far as he does? 224 yards, didn't catch what iron he used, but back of the green or slightly over. Not much correlation anymore, strength to distance, unless you're DeChambeau..
