If given a choice: would you vote for Miami not making the playoffs, or LAL.... tough call, but watching LAL fail is a sweet as watching MFY fail
LAL without hesitation. I mean shit, it’s the Lakers PLUS LeBron!

Draymond...the same guy who also got into it with KD on the floor of an NBA game? What is Reggie talking about?

Hachimura with the leg kick at KAT (?) from the ground. Now they're reviewing it.

Surely no Japanese man could ever be guilty of a hostile act!

edit: double techs on Rui and Ant. That's lame, but I guess expected.

LAL. I still feel there is some universe in which things click for the Lakers (they are on a 16-7 stretch) and they go on a deep run, while there is no such hope for Miami. Even if they do somehow get out of round 1, there is a pretty massive silver lining for Boston (no more Milwaukee).

Fakers are seriously losing to Minny at home without Gobert?

Davis should get 60 by himself tonight

Well we just witnessed the worst goaltending call in the history of the NBA. I’m always one to be soft on the refs as I get how impossible their job is at game speed…..but that wasn’t even close to a goaltend.

Hope ANT can explode in the 2nd half and put down the Lakers in a dumpster where they belong.

Wolves took a punch and are still standing. Man, I love Kyle Anderson. Such a steady player. And I’ve always loved Conley. 24 minutes to a perfect NBA night.

I'm watching with the sound off and only got the quick replay, but it looked pretty egregious. Is this the sort of call that can be overturned later, taking away 2 points from minnesota?

No, you have to use a challenge if no ref on the floor overruled the other.

They’ve done so twice so far. This team has really struggled late in games to close teams out so this game could/should be a fantastic finish.
Feels like it's gonna depend on KAT. They are just killing the Lakers when he's on the court, and there's just no guarantee he ends up being available for minutes down the stretch.

Not a great day for the trade KAT crowd (may be just me). Absolutely remarkable that the Wolves are up by this much with both Lebron and AD playing well, and Ant in the middle of his worst game of the year.
Laker supporting cast coming up small ….. so far.

In the 3 dept, .Miinn is kind of the opposite of Atl
They were basically league average during the year (14th in makes and 15th in attempts), but that's mostly without KAT, perhaps the most prolific 3 point shooting center in history. Worth noting that they were 1st in both makes and attempts last year (granted two of their big shooters last year are now with the Lakers, but still).

If Miami ends up making the playoffs and faces the Bucks, they are gonna just get murdered on the boards. Bucks were 1st in rebounds this year, Miami was 27th (Atlanta was 10th). Few things I like more than "tough" teams who can't rebound.

Why do they bother showing us the coaches in the huddle. "Hey...play defense all right? Let's get some stops. Get rebounds, loose balls...okay? Let's go."
Part of the agreement that was made to allow the media into the huddles was that they were not allowed to broadcast any strategic discussions. It makes an NBA coach looks like a job any fan can do to a casual.

Miller praises the Conley/SloMo PnR. Anderson immediately proceeds to get stuffed at the rim. It wasn't the first time either.
