I mean…. Novak is just so so so so good. There doesn’t seem to be a single weakness in his game. He’s strong, athletic, fit, can hit every shot imaginable and at a high level, serves great and is awesome at serve receive, and is unbelievably mentally tough.

We were for years debating whether Rafa or Federer was the greatest ever but pretty clearly Novak is blowing them both away.

Man I thought Medvedev was done for. He looked terrible in the 3rd and seemed to be on tilt more concerned with the warning than the game. Credit to him he turned it on and has been on fire ever sense.

Vondrousova was up 6-3, 4-0 on Svitolina but maybe hit a bit of a wall, Svitolina has it back to 4-2 now.

Yeah, very anticlimactic end but Vondrousova holds on. The announcers are saying it was a really well-played match, I missed most of it, but the end was ugly both ways.

The winner of this second match will be a big fave in the final, I guess.

Yeah that second serve is awful, it's amazing how good she is even with that.

As the set gets deeper Id take a little off her first serve if I were Jabeur, knowing that it's difficult to hit a 2nd serve with too much authority when the nerves are tight.

This is the same thing I was thinking, make sure to get your first one in. She is such a smart player, I was surprised she didn't do this in the breaker.

Sabalenka breaks to go up 3-2, she is looking just a bit too good for Jabeur today.

Jabeur needed that point at 3-4, 30-30, she has been hitting behind Sabalenka a lot but sometimes you have to go to open court.

She saves a break point but I really think she needs to hit to open court more, Sabalenka is waiting for those shots behind her now.

Gutty hold though, 5-4 Jabeur. Let's break again and get this to the 3rd!!

She's the most likable player I can remember in a long time. I hope she leaves with the title.

I'm a huge Novak fan, but the two shots that I always hold my breath on are his overhead smashes and his drop shots. For someone so technically perfect, it amazes me how many of those two types of shots he misses.

Djokovic broke early and doesnt relent, wins the first 6-3. They just flashed a stat that he's won 105 straight matches in majors after winning the first set. That's flat out insane.

Questionable hindrance call against Djokovic on a grunt. Definitely seemed a bit delayed, but as the announcer said, Sabalenka does it on practically every point with no consequence.

I think this one stuck out because Sabalenka's grunt starts with her shot and extends way too long, whereas in this specific case Djoker didnt really start his grunt until the ball was well off his racquet and crossing the net. I wish they'd call it on Sabalenka too, but Djoker's definitely seemed more blatant IMO

I had to pause for a while, but great win for Jabeur!!
It was impressive. I like Sabalenka. She plays like somewhere in her life a tennis ball wasn’t nice to her and she is out for revenge on every tennis ball that comes near her. I’ve never seen a player hit where I thought they were trying to hurt the ball before.

Is it me, or does Djoker seem off? I know he’s leading, but he seems almost disengaged to me.
I guess I see what you mean, but I think he's kind of letting Sinner dictate things knowing that on the bigger points his defensive mindset is more likely to force an error out of Sinner.

Yep, maybe that's his strategy with Sinner. I'm just thinking of the emotion he had throughout the match with Rublev and that's not there so far today.
