Looked like the lip of the grass to me.
Crawford's pitch mix is tantalizing. I hope he can find consistency this year, he could be a serious weapon.
I think hit is a good call there. I don't think he would have had Rafaela even if he played it cleanly.
I have a hunch that if Cutter Crawford pitched for another team, he would be at least a few of you's binky.

Edit: Switched it up due to returning from injury SSS stuff for pitcher B and added his age 28 season.
Rays with the 100% Latin American lineup today. DR, Mexico, Venezuela, Colombia, Cuba, Panama all represented.

I mean he certainly was last year.
2022 he clearly wasn't ready yet but he's worked hard and fixed things.
He seems good, but I don't feel we know anything from his pitching to this team tonight, b/c it's only part of the Rays team he'll face this year.

I'm not much of a gambler either, but a month ago I saw that Rafaela's ROY odds were +4000 and felt compelled to make a small wager with those odds.
Was surprised to just see now that he is still at +4000.

I was not around for the first -- there was a play in the 3rd which I recall being off his glove and would've been a very good play -- so while not a botch job would've been nice to see. The throwing error on the other hand....
I'd like to see him make the team. Wish he was better.
Hmmm. He seems like a nice kid, but the performance, both on offense and defense, leaves a LOT to be desired.
To me, one of the most beautiful achievements for a batter is a bases loaded walk. I mean that sincerely. Burden the pitcher, maybe freak them out a bit, no chance for a fantastic fielding play to register an out.
I’m thinking real hard about bringing him north, if I’m Cora. The upside for this team is in defensive improvements…
