Toronto bringing the beef with Kirk and Vogelbach back to back in the order.
In CF, Duran is sporting a dyed blonde mullet, like a pro wrestler from the 1980s.

Miami (oh, Miami!)
Well, MLB.TV has lapsed and the MLB.com radio feed won't push WEEI (though it does allow the TOR broadcast.)

MLB just makes it such a pain in the ass to follow the games.

After watching Story chase a bad pitch in the dirt to whiff yet again, I am officially concerned about him.
A few loud hits would calm my nerves but he still doesn't look good at the plate.

I spend a million on a new pitching coach and make sure Story's getting live pitching at every opportunity this spring.

He did just jump on the first pitch and sting it up the middle. Unfortunately, the pitcher got his glove on it and knocked it down. But he hit it well.

Casas has lost a little baby fat off his chin, which makes his neck look longer.

Can someone with eyes on the game comment on Valdez's fielding if/when it comes into play?
Made a clean routine play on a groundout in the second. Was where he needed to be on a couple plays in the fourth. One covering 1B on a pop-up to Casas (who intentionally let it drop to try to get a double play) and the other backing up and catching an errant throw on a steal attempt at 2B.

Thank you. There's only so much you can get from the radio.

Walter had been pitching well for his first 2 innings, but Kirk just took him deep to left for the first run of the game.
And now a walk to the other keg on legs.

In 17 PA this spring, Ceddane has walked as many times as he did in 89 PA appearances in Boston last year.

Maybe it's just the TV editing, but I thought McGuire was going to end up on third there. Is he slow?

Joe Jacques may just be one of the least interesting pitchers to watch in a meaningless spring training game. Zero intrigue.
If I squint, I could see his terrible performance so far as a good thing, in that the Sox have guys better than him this year.

Just tuned the radio in. Who is the pbp? Sounds like an AM radio announcer c.1973. "We've got the hits that are fun, the hits that are number 1; the big hits; the hot hits; not the not-hits...."
