Well, you have to go back a way to last New Year's Eve to find an instance where Buffy beat the B's. No matter. Any team that has beaten Boston at ANY time in the past deserves to be punished, as far as I'm concerned.

So let's do just that. Punish the Sabres!

Is there something up with Jack Edward's health-wise? He's always had a clipped style, but it just seems like it's more pronounced, with some fairly lengthy pauses between phrases.

Looking like Linus is going to need to be on his game tonight. Puck mgmt definitely not a strong suit coming out of the tunnel.

Sorry, not just "did Marchand get the penalty", more "was that something that doesn't get called on anyone else?"

Thank God the NHL isn't completely in the tank. That was SO obvious.

Please excuse my ignorance, but having been gifted the NHL package on DirecTV I am now just starting to watch.
Did Jack have a stroke?

You have 5 shots. Don't turn a good one down to make a move. Especially when you then lose the puck on it.

Is there any rationale other than "Because NHL" that
Goaltender Interference called on the ice is a 2-minute penalty.
Goaltender Interference called after a review is neutral zone faceoff?

Not complaining or anything... just curious.

One is an actual penalty, where a player intentionally moves the goalie. The other is seen as inadvertently keeping the goalie from attempting a save. And FTR, refs can rule the latter without a review.

We've touched on it around here, but he started struggling last year a bit, but it's gotten really bad this season. His mind is there, but the mouth just can't seem to keep up. He struggles with Sophia Jurksztowicz's last name, a name he has to say it 3-5 times a broadcast. Last week he couldn't even get out the word "goal" cleanly. There has been no mention anywhere if it's a health issue, but you just gotta feel really bad for the guy, he still has the passion but just can't do it anymore. I hope he willingly steps away at the end of the year so there aren't hard conversations to be had

Lets see -- outshot 23-9 at home against a close-to-the-cellar team missing some top players? That smacks of leftover thanksgiving turkey sando's as a pre-game snack. Really have to stay away from those.

It looks like everyone is playing sick. I wasn’t surprised they look like this after they had to bring Bussi up on emergency.

Any news on what happened to Forbort?
I think Montgomery said that he had the lower body injury (probably that shot block) that he had time off for. They thought he was okay but after he came back it was still bothering him enough that decided he needed more time to heal.
